  1. nice group Did a shoot for a skyline dude on friday afternoon, here's the first couple from that set.
  2. Yep that's correct. Long exposure shot just outside. Painted light ion car. All I did was darken the surrounds because they were distracting from the car.
  3. I know about a dozen people who've used PhilBEnterprises. He's got a van and all the trick shit inside to get the job done well. Not sure what he charges but I've seen his work first hand and it's top shelf. Just put Phil B Enterprises into google, I know he's got a site that should more information on it. Maybe you guys can organise a group buy and meet at Zen Garage or somewhere similar and get some discounts happenin
  4. By the time the lightning has struck, your camera has realised and clicked I'd be suprised if you even got half the shot in. Unless it was a super bright/long crack. Best method I think is just to have super fast fire, and shoot when you expect it. I could be wrong, but lightning happens pretty quicky. Nicks, You need to tidy up the white balance on all the last 3 shots. I'll show you when i come over later on. Here's a wallpaper shot. Can be found through my sig if you're clever (and can be botheredd)
  5. Do we have a list of competing cars we can post up in here? Also, I'm trying to find out who from nsw is heading down...
  6. Just wondering who is heading down to Forum Battle? Competing? Spectating? Media? Also, how do most people plan on getting there? Cruise or fly?
  7. Thanks Callan! JAY GOTZ A J.O.B.??????????????????????? f**kIN RAD!!!!!!!!! Good work man. Nice shots too This is something from a meet. was trying a few random things while i was stuck at home today. Feedback on the style is appreciated... and here's a couple from yesterday's little adventure to the city.
  8. Put some new springs/shocks in car after work yesterday. went out after the storm to grab a shot of it at it's lowest and dirtiest ;p took this shot just across the road too.
  9. Nice angles man. Always trying to bring a bit of art and creativity to a shoot is a good thing. The mustang shots you've seen are featured here with a bit of a story to go along with it about the car. Words are a mix of my own and Goldzilla's.
  10. hahaha. lol@ zeNon!
  11. do like.
  12. Not saying you shouldn't mark your work man. Just saying that for most of the time a watermark won't stop someone using it if they want to, and that most of us togs here font need to worry about people stealing our work. As nick suggested, if you want show off some of your finer shots it might be worth using a less intrusive mark. Keep your super big mark for the event galleries if u think it helps reduce people stealing your shit/increase sales.
  13. If you've done an event gallery and you're watermark is smack bang in the middle like that people will still rip your image and use on their online galleries anyway. People just don't associate any value to event photography. sad by true. The only time someone really wants a shot is if they want the high res to print it off for a wall somewhere. People are happy with low res watermarked up shit for their fb/blog sites and computer archives. Besides car owners at events who is really going to steal your image? It's not likely Top Gear are going to steal it for their next cover, and I doubt nissan would want it for a future brochure. I know no-one is likely to steal my amatuer shit, My watermark is more for traffic generation and crediting the shot to me rather than protecting my copyright and ruining my image. p.s.
  14. The moon was just ripped from the 'sky archive'... so it's kinda half cheating...
  15. a couple more from the mustang shoot...
  16. Those shots of mine were out near penrith. Nice colours sidd. I love ghetto Mods j. Cool work.
  17. Check the used car section after EVERY 6 RACES. That will give you a full new list. it refreshes a few cars after each race. (Or each time it loads a track and you quit)
  18. Ahhh Tezzzah! I thought you'd forgotten about us. haven't seen u post in a bit. A couple from friday evening's shoot with a very rad Mustang...
  19. Get a flickr man. Best free hoist. Or 500px if your confident to mix it up with the big boys.
  20. Teaser...
  21. The hdr in those supra shots take away from otherwise nice shoot. Cool location and angles. f**king awesome find j!!!!!!
  22. Autocult coverage of Drifts. Pics Vids and stuff....
  23. Cool shots fongy, the only thing to suggest would be make sure you kill the halo'ing around the edges of the car and wall. Halo can kill an otherwise good hdr shot. Congrats Matt. Jewellery can be a massive struggle to capture properly. You can end up with a really complicated set up for something so small and simple looking. Nice shot there too sidd, Were the board shots a request or your idea? Good to see your posting up Sean. Here's a couple shots from the Final Twilight last year, Just got around to looking these ones the other night. Been soooooooooooooooooo busy. Check it out... Hit and Run boys really do do Hit and Runs haha I'll have a stack more and a blog from the day posted up on Autocult.net over the next couple of days.
