A couple of us are organising a last minute cruise for this Monday (Long weekend). Meeting at the Penrith KK Carpark at 12pm. (For the hang over sufferers). Depart about 12.30. We will cruise the Bells Line Rd and then get a late lunch at the Maquarie Arms at Windsor. It's always a good feed there Oh, if you feel like ripping the roads up or going hard go somewhere else. It isnt crunching. One of the main bearings has hardened up and is ticking. I just want to fix it all up before it causes some more serious damage is all.

How you been dude? I'll try to get out on a cruise some time soon, I've been really busy!!!! I've only been looking at getting a full reconditioning, which includes bearings, seals, and a couple synchro's. A couple places have quoted about $900, and couple others have quoted about $1200... Just not sure if I will get much of a different level of service for the extra bucks, and not sure I'll ever need that extra level, I'm not planning on turning the car into any kind of powerplant in the near future. Also the cost or Remove+Replace seems to be about $300 - $500 depending on the workshop If anyone else has any info or experience don't be shy!

Hi All, I'm looking at getting my RB20DET gearbox fully reconditioned. I've rang a few places around the quotes offered for a similar service vary quite alot. I thought it might be useful if we listed a bunch of workshops with how you view your experience. Things like their knowledge, price, satisfaction, service.
