Hey, I'm after a NEW drivers side headlight for my r33 GTS. Its got a lot of those little cracks in the glass, and despite my best attempts at cleaning it, still looks dirty... hence the new headlight query... Anyone have a new one or know where I might be able to pick up a good deal in Australia (preferably NSW) and how much i'd be looking at?

Dude! How cunning are they getting! Casing your place and stealing garage remotes etc. (possibly) No wonder we're all paranoid parking our cars out in public, when s**t like this happens at your own house!

This is absolute bulls***... I think it's only going to get worse if nothing is done about it. I think its got a lot to do with all these dicks who steal imports, ram-raid and then wrap them round a pole!! I agree with benm, The cops could seriously be out doing some real work where they're really needed. I think Prank's idea was great... a good start at least. A letter to magazines etc. could at least rally some more support, maybe even some sympathy...

Dude.. Seriously... I've done a fair bit of shopping around and I really can't go past Lifestyle at Norwest... They took over a $1000 off the retail prices of my system, but the best bit is, they actually give a s**t.... After I had it installed they asked me to come back so they could see the job and have a play with it etc. The Installation wasnt excellent though... i took it back and showed them and they were so persistent to get everything sorted immediately. I have a single 12" sub in my R33 and I face it towards the end of the car.... Sounds good! I've had a sub pointed into the car in my R31 when i could fold the seats down and almost sit it inside the cabin, but there's not as much bass as being faced the other way and as an enclosed unit (boot)

Well for $3000 I just got installed (on Thursday): * Pioneer deh-p8450mp deck * Boston Rally 620 splits * Boston FX6 rears * Clarion V-Net 4 channel amp (for speakers) * 12" Rockford Punch HE sub * Rockford f200 amp (sub) Went to Lifestyle at Norwest. Those guys are awesome and actually seem like they care what happens to the system. Highly recommended, although their installations (different site) had a bit to be desired... Really happy with it! It's renewed the excitment of jumping in the car!

Well... We had such a good turn out that benm and I were considering a one-on-one match!

You guys wanna move it to another day? Say another couple of weeks to rally more support (IE. soft c****) and so its not on such a hectic weekend with the dyno day and BBQ etc? I'll need to know to cancel ASAP so i'm not in the s**t though.. Thoughts...?

Don't Dyno yourselves out... Remember you have a whole night of LaserZone'ing ahead of you...

Well for $15 we get as many 20 minute games as we can get during the 3 hour period. There's 20 people able to play at once, so if we get that many or less, we can all play about 7 or more games. About $2 a game... Its just electronic skirmish. You have a laser gun and a coloured vest. you have sensors on your shoulders and gun and have to shoot your oponents in those sensors etc.

So should I count you in then UR2EZ?

Well if we get more than 20 people (well even if we don't) the others who aren't playing, can congregate downstairs and watch over the nest and protect them from and drunk morons (from other suburbs that only come to penrith because of the night life) :bahaha:

It's a Saturday night. You can park your cars right in front of Laserzone and when you aren't playing a game, everyone hangs out on the street anways.... She'll be right... If i get too worried about mine, I have a key to a locked underground carpark in High St... :devil2:

There's been a bit of discussion going on about hitting Laser Zone in Penrith on Feb 15. * We need about 20 people * $15 each unlimited games from 9pm - 12am * 10 people per side (2 sides) * Have a tentative booking Need to book it in soon. What do you guys reckon? So far I have: Knat Ryan ed UR2EZ tactic benm cereal d3vil + friends I'm sure more will follow suit. I'll ring up and book it then.

Nup. doesn't have to be, but just think, you have to play 2 games and you're already ahead. It's not that tiring. I played a couple of 'Midnight 'till dawns' pretty much playing for 5 or so hours straight... Don't think there'll be a problem just playing and paying for a single game though... Up to you guys, but spread the word and let me know soonish so i can book it. BTW: there doesn't have to be 20... more or less is fine...

We can have the place from 9pm-12am on 15th Feb providing we have approx. 20 people. Cost is $15 each. Quite a bargain considering its usually about $8 for a single game. There's 10 a side, so we should be able to get about 7 or 8 games if you want to go hard, but you'll probably get a bit bored after 4 or 5. As benm said, there's other things to do around Penrith in between games etc. :headbang: I need to let him know pretty soon if we wanna do it and whether we have the numbers. Hey.. What a spin out!! The owner of Lazerzone just called me at work enquiring about web hosting for a lazerzone web site!! HAHA... I assumed that one of you guys had called there or something, but he had no idea about any SAU forums etc. I haven't heard from this guy for yonks and as soon as we start talking about his business, he calls me.... :headspin: he has never called me before just to put it in perspective... Oh.. and yeah he said that he could do us a good deal for a group and because of ME We threw around the date of 15th Feb. That gives a few weeks to prepare and get the word out etc. What do you guys think? Lazerzone Penrith?

Well last time i was there, they were 20 minute games. You have 2 teams: Green and Red. You have a plastic vest that has sensors on your shoulders and also sensors on your gun. I used to play there a bit... *polishes MVP trophy* :bahaha:

There's a Lazerzone in Penrith in High St. I used to be mates with the owner, but haven't seen him for a couple of years, so not sure if he still owns it. If he does, we're guaranteed a good deal... :uh-huh:
