Haha. I like that one! want to get something like that for mine... I'd love to come up with some ingenius anti-theft device. One of the guys from work used to have a motion activated webcam setup out the front with sensor lights. That worked well, but you really need something that's going to deter them immediately.

I cringe when I hear of this stuff now. It just sucks to know that you can't leave your valuables anywhere... This is the worst thing about owning such a schmick car. Perhaps you should consider mounting a bull bar to the gtr and go hunting for the little bastards... :headshot:

I forgot to mention in my post that I've got a stock auto... Probably how I come out with such good averages. I generally only use Optimax these days, but have tried all the other premium (98 octane) fuels around. BP Ultimate seems to be ok all round and the Mobil version gives good performance, but not as good economy. Optimax is the best all round in my view. If I "ran my lil biatch dry", I'm sure I'd be around 500 a tank.

Yeah I usually get about 450km's on a full tank. Mind you, I never really let it go till the light comes on. I did an oil and filter change a couple of weeks ago and my 2 tanks since then have been better. I've hit 400kms with 1/4 of a tank (according to the guage) to go. I suppose it really depends on a lot of things like how hard you drive it, how you use the gears or overdrive, freeway driving vs stop-start, type of petrol you use etc. etc.

Did you look at some of the installs pages? Does that guy sound a lot like Yoda, or is it just me...

Just got badged!! Dirty F***ers! I was at my GF's in Chipping Norton and was only away from my car between 6pm and 8:00pm and the the bastards hit me front, back and sides! They've jimmy'd the boot lock out and screwed the boot. The rest of the paint work looks ok... I'd spent the whole day driving around the country side getting quotes on bits and pieces for my car and had made a few fixes to the point where I was extremely happy with the days achievments... and this goes and happens. I know they were there this morning and the car was only left unattended for about an hour while at Warringah mall having lunch. I'm positive they were there then! Man! I am sooo dirty! :goddam: I called the cops and asked if there was anything i could do about it and they pretty much said it wasn't worth their time... Making a report and taking it down to the station shortly... Won't be worth claiming on insurance, the excess will be heaps more than the cost to repair... I'm also writing a letter to the units' manager requesting better security and to repair the flood light that is sitting there broken for months... Apparently there has been other occurences of this sort of stuff going on around the area. How brave are they though!? only a couple of hours with people coming home all the time and driving into the lockup parking either side of the visitor parks... Does anyone know a good place around Sydney (pref. West) to replace these parts. Nissan dealers and Justjap spring to mind. Any ball park figures of what I'd be looking at? at least a couple of hundred I'd presume for the front SII badge, 2x GT badges and new lock for boot. Anyone else had this happen? Did a search through the forums and noticed that a guy in Perth had gone through the same thing and had posted. Presume that it's pretty frequent. I'm off to make a nasty poster to stick to the wall where my car was parked... Feel a BIT better now i've got that off my chest. Have a spare brand new 12" box after I was given one for free upon installation of my system. Was intending on putting a Rockford in it. It's an enclosed, carpeted and insulated box with terminals. Still in the original packaging. Looking for $50... Sydney buyers preferred.

Hey, I am looking for a complete electrical wiring diagram for an R33, including, circuit diagrams (for the whole car, not just the engine and ignition systems) and wire and plug colour coding. Basically, the electrical workshop manual. Have read previous posts on SAU and Skylines downunder to no avail. The diagrams should be at least 30 pages or so. Can anyone help?

Anything but R&B and Rap crap... I agree with Shell.. Linkin Park is cool cruising music... Some mad bassy tunes. Probably my pick of the lot would be Pearl Jam! Greatest band in the world! Also like Nickelback, Default, The Chair, Grinners, Foo Fighters etc. etc.

Yeah I've got a Pioneer DEH-P8450 MP. I also agree with Tool's comments, my only real gripe is the scrolling functionand it is a little slow to load mp3's compared to the other deck I was tossing up against (Alpine FantomFace). It is very customisable, but really havent had much of a play with it yet or got the CD-TEXT to work on some of my burnt cd's. I presume it has it? It is a schmick looking unit with a funky display and it plays MP3's so i'm happy! Still one of the best MP3 decks on the market in my opinion..

Maybe it's just cause they drive Commodores!

Was driving past the RTA in Penrith tonight @ about 8pm and noticed that the RTA on York rd was open with flood lights and cop cars all around it! I knew there was a 'do' down at Panthers tonight... Obviously so did the coppers!! :sly: By the time I came back at about 10ish, the line of cars at the RTA was out into the street!! I'm talking about 20-30 cars! Looked a bit like a TWS meet! but with Commodores and Lancers etc. etc. They got everyone... Hope those guys whipped out their rule books that have been spoken about on the forums before... "What's the colour of a two cent piece... COPPER, COPPER...":shake:

Fixed! Well... It appears to be for now... You were right Humbla, the clip was facing the wrong way and just hanging out. Fixed that, then proceeded to put some foam tape stuff in some of the gaps as a buffer between the wiper cover and the back window and between the parcel shelf and metal. All good! Thanks!

ahhh thanks Humbla. I have noticed that the shelf is sitting up. Maybe it is something to do with the clips. Have to try and figure out how to clip them down. As i said before, its only one side that makes the noise... perhaps one clip is right..

Howdy... Do you guys get a banging or a squeaky noise from your parcel shelves when you run some bass through your speakers or crank your sub(s)? I used to only get it when i was pounding out some low bass and when I was back at the audio store last weekend, I showed one of the guys who started mucking around with the tray from inside the cabin and from the boot. Now i'm starting to notice it just driving along the motorways etc. I think i've isolated the places where its coming from and now need to try and fix it. i think its the cover from the rear wiper banging up against the back window and also just one side of the shelf where the vents are... Has anyone else had this problem? I presume its common... How did you get around it? thick tape, foam, some sort of divider? If so, where did you get it from and how much was it? This noise is driving me nuts!!! :crazy:
