  1. The car went to the dyno the other day for a base file and a run in tune The dyno fan was broken and not operating to the car only had to pulls but safe to say the car is is making great power on stock boost 401hp @ 14psi The only thing to sort out now is the 4wd system. It's not playing the game at the moment needs to be rewired due to the aftermarket 4wd controller that had been spliced in Really excited to get down to Perth and have a drive My mate did a quick video https://youtu.be/oRWWXwzOJq0
  2. Cheers mate yeah I'm getting excited A bit of a update Its Aive It was fired up Friday night It has a real Cammed idle which sounds killa. Unfortunatly no videos as I am up in Port Hedland working all I heard was it across the phone hahahahaha I will try to get someone to go over there and get a video Peter Gray has someone he takes them to I will find out who they are
  3. Definitely keen to get like minded people together I work a shitty swing but still keen to try and make it work
  4. Hey Guys Just want to know how to become a SAUWA member?
  5. Want to do a 4WD burnout

  6. It's in his workshop in Gidgegannup His passion is GTR's so he was the perfect choice
  7. Yeah Nick said that but I'm gonna wait until the car is running and on the dyno to check He said it may require more clearencing on the lip he rolled
  8. Not far until start up Just small jobs to finish up Its been a long time since I have done any soldering and wiring repairs on a car. I was lucky enough that the last 2 ex girlfriends were fully qualified auto sparkies hahahahaha Anyway started fitting new plugs for injectors soon realized why I should have stuck it out with the ex...... I'm shit at soldering hahahahaha Anyway with the help of my main man Peter Gray we got the plugs soldered taped and in place I dropped in the coolant over flow bottle, windscreen washer and oil catch can assembly, fitted the radiator that Peter had already wired and mounted a craid davies thermo fan. Finally hooked up the catch can just need the Vipec ECU wired in and we are good for start up
  9. Nick spoke to me about it and said there was no way we could run 4inch from the intercooler but he thought with some minor body mods he could get a 3.5inch pipe to work and delete the lower silicone joiner this should reduce the amount of boost pipes blowing off The result I am really happy with Imo it looks alot cleaner than the hard pipe kit and not as drastic angle changes
  10. The next issue was the drivers side piping from the body to the Greddy manifold The manifold inlet was around 100mm (4inch) with the hard piping kit it then reduced to 80mm outside diameter. The internal diameter of the cast hard pipe was 75mm (3inch) so my thoughts are with such a large step down that could be a point of restriction So I called my good mate Nick who owns The Exhaust Center Midvale to see what he could do Nick has done countless jobs for me from full custom exhausts to tow points, fire extinguisher mounts the list goes on definitely a great fabricator. Here is what he had to work with
  11. Havent driven the car yet lol Are they any good besides the ride? I have a mate that may be interested in swapping them out for a Tein kit as he tracks the car move than he street drives
  12. I can't work out what brand coilovers these are anyone got any ideas?
  13. Fuel system is done Running a big surge tank roughly 8L Twin 044 pumps rubber mounted into a Aeroflow Y block, 2x one way check valves Teflon braided fuel line is used for the supply and return lines E85 rated hose is used in the fuel tank and to the supply to surge Half way down the car is a 200 micron cleanable E85 fuel filter And I'm running a Tomei fuel regulator
  14. Update time Engine is together 86mm Ross pistons mated up with Eagle rodss and ACL race bearings ARP head studs and and main studs hold everything together I have pictures on another phone of the build I will post them up sometime soon The -5 turbos, and manifolds were all port matched and mounted with Tomei style high flow dump pipes and HKS waste gate actuators Fitted up the Greddy manifold never actually realized how big it was compared to the stock one Fitted a HKS fuel rail with 1200cc Deutchworks injectors Was a bitch to fit engine but we got it done
  15. Hey mate sorry to go off subject but do you have the old greddy pipe kit off your car still? would be keen to take it off your hands
  16. Block has been machined already bores only required a quick hone
  17. Hahahahaha yeah thats what spun me out 2x Toyota resistors I think
  18. Thanks for the info mate much appreciated This is defiantly a big learning experience
  19. I thought the GTR's didn't have them..... I may be wrong
  20. Dose anyone know what this is? I think it is some sort of 4wd control box but it runs with its own wiring harness
  21. I refitted the climate control into the dash instead of the glove box removed the gauge control box and reconnected the stock dash gauges So much cleaner
  22. Thanks man The car is very clean. The engine bay has been repainted and cleared about 2 years ago so it's something I don't need to worry about I have found a few bits and pieces that aren't right for this year car though I found out the car has a R32 gearbox in it It has a R32 ignition wiring harness in it so the ignitor is separate from the coil packs It had various after market gauges and timers in it I have stripped them all out and am starting again Doe anyone knows if these HKS knock boxe and timer are any good Either way I pulled them out I think they may be missing components
