rb25 headgaskets are different to rb26 and rb30 due to vct oil supply.

Before you buy a new battery check that your alternator is charging properly. It should read at least 14volts when the engine is running. When my alt. was dying the warning light didn't come on but I had weird problems with almost everything electrical and my alarm /immobiliser was the most sensitive to the low voltage.

Does your hicas light ever come on?

It turned out to be a bent water-pump flange. To look at it the fan didn't appear to run out. It was checked visually three times by different mechanics and was given the ok but then it was checked out with a dial indicator with the fan removed and the water-pump flange had 0.20mm run out. Apparently at high revs that was enough to start a vibration that caused the blades to bend an excessive amount. A new pump and 10,000 km later no more problems.

In my r32 I added a 500k pot between the dashlight leds and earth and the leds dim perfectly. If I had problems with them blowing, which I haven't, I'd put a fixed value resistor (maybe 100 ohm) in series with the pot.

According to your pics the teins are type HA not HR.

So it does, pity, I need H3.

Just be aware that your sub will fade with whichever speakers it shares the rcas with. If either amp has rca outputs you don't need splitters, just run new rcas from the outputs.

Your steering wheel must be centered on the steering rack travel. Fine adjustment can be done with tie rods during a wheel alignment.

Why are you selling the cradle with the crank? You should never separate the cradle from the block as they are machined as a unit.

Hope your right because 110 is the one i ordered for an '89 115 is the one listed on ebay for the gtr.

They list hkb on-110 for the r32gts on ebay but apparently series 1 and 2 are different. They list it as hicas compatible so I guess they mean it is for the gtst. Is this the right part no. for an '89? What is the alternative part no.?

I saw a guard roller in a Bursons catalogue for about $180. I think they can be bought for about $150 trade.

Given that all evidence points to the r32gtr pump and the tomei gtst pump being identical why are they rated differently?

Has it suddenly got worse or has it been this bad since the ems and 440cc injectors? If the tune checks out ok, see if the O2 sensor is working properly, not just working but working at full speed, they get lazy after a few years.

This exhaust sounds awesome and it's not overly loud but I've decided to use the car for long trips so I'm upgrading the stereo and want a very quiet exhaust. I bought this exhaust brand new about 5000km ago and paid about $1k It is lightweight, full sus304 stainless 76mm>90mm>110mm and the welds are a work of art. It is still in excellent condition. I will swap for a quieter exhaust of similar quality/condition eg. Kakimoto, Fujitsubo Legalis etc or would buy such an exhaust outright. I cannot sell this exhaust outright unless I have found a replacement. Located near Goldcoast
