are they as strong as the original?

i dropped the gearbox by undoing the crossmember but it doesnt drop low enough to get a spanner on top of the switch nut, the only way i can see doing it without removing the whole gearbox it to use a socket with a open side so the wires can come through the side is there such a socket?

I took off my clutch slave cylinder today. when i put it back on i did up the nuts with my hand as far as they would go, then did the rest with the spanner , only prob was one of the nuts keept spinning ,so i took it out to find the thread from the gearbox was all on the screw :-< anyone had this done is it easy to re thread or am i going to need a new gearbox side cover?

does the aircon make that much difference to the water temp? like towing a trailer i suppose

did u do it ? how hard was it to take the old bearing out?

is there a easy method of getting the bearing out and putting it back in ??

does anyone know if the aircon system is the same on all r32 cars ? ie. same hoses ,joins piping aircon pump etc?

i dont see how u can press them out as they ave a lip 2 stop u from pressing them inwards, and i dont see how u can prres them outward?

any other manufacturers make a replacment switch ,ie bosch? nissan are awful expensive for what it is

anyone had problems with their reverse lights working on and off,because of the reverse switch on the gearbox, I have to hold the gearstick in the reverse position hard for the reverse lights to come on,otherwise they dont work. is there a easy way to fix or replace the switch ? from underneath the car ,not only is the front drive shaft in the way of getting to it, but even if it wasnt the spot where it is ,is near impossible to reach. i dont want to have to remove the whole gearbox just for a switch. any ideas?

i took the factory bushes apart today ,it seems that the only thing that wears and causes the unwanted movement,is the plastic inserts that sit inside between the metal bush and the crush tube,so why cant we just buy these?

so what is it that wears on the factory arms? is it the crush tubes or the plastic inserts that the crush tube goes into?

any tips on removing the factory bushes?

anyone used the noltec control rm bushes, apparently u dont have to remove the old bushes just the factory crush tube hat correct? heres a pic of the set

I have a r32 gtr , the airconditioning system has been removed, before i got it , but my thermometer ambient temp display isnt working it shows -30 all the time, what controls the sensor ? would they have removed something when they removed the aircon?? also if anyone has a tut on how to reinstall the aircon system let me know as i think i still have all the parts.
