Hi All My rear window demister has stopped working.. the light does not come on when the switch is pressed so i thought it may be the switch..however if i unplug the wires going from the switch to the demister module in the rear quarter by the jack in the back i get 12 v from the connector and the light on the switch comes on..plug it back into the module ..light goes back off.. So i unpug the demister harness on the other side of the module (output to the actual demister heater bars) and light comes on.. plug it back in light goes off so im assuming that its the actual demister bars that have an issue..if one of the wires have come off the demister bars it would be like a open circuit? as tho i unplugged the plugs wouldnt it? therefor the light would come on? but it doesnt...any ideas? when the switch is pressed so i thought it may be the switch..however if i unplug the wires going from the switch to the demister module in the rear quarter by the jack in the back i get 12 v from the connector and the light on the switch comes on..plug it back into the module ..light goes back off.. from what i understand i can bolt the 33 gearbox to my existing transfer case ,take the front r32 gearbox cover and all the bits on the shaft in front of it and put them on the 33 and thats it? attach slave cylinder and away i go? anything im missing?

Can get a r33 gearbox just want to know if I can transfer the bits from my 32 box to make the 33 fully compatible?

yea thought about it but would like something stronger

My 4 gear syncro is shagged on my 89 r32 gtr so am thinking on getting a v3 r33 gearbox but obviously have to do a push to pull conversion are they any easy or kit methods to do this?? Cheers!

ok have tried draining but it has stopped at just below the return hose..no more is coming out the nipple ..how do i get the rest of the fluid out?

yeah would like new not another 20 year old plus that will leak again.. have been told by nissan they arent avail anymore so need a suitable replacement but i dont know what sort of hose to use ..fuel transmission .....how much pressure it will need to withstand ...etc

do u need any special oil filter other than what you would normally use if u didnt have the moval kit?

Hi All I have had a issue with my r32 gtr for a while now and am wondering if anyone has any ideas.. When im driving and have my hand on the gearstick and depress the clutch or accelerate or decelerate I feel a slight knock through my hand like the gearstick it being hit buy something, I took it to Nissan and got their head mechanic to take a drive and he thought it might be the gearbox mounts or engine mounts,i didn't think so as the stick moves not the gearbox but I thought well ill give it a go and replace the gearbox and engine mounts..but no improvement.. I thing the the drive shaft might be sitting on a worn bearing and maybe rocking up and down when I accelerate of depress the clutch ..any thoughts?

my gtr does exactly the same thing if I wot at idle or launch big puff of this brown coloured smoke..seals or just too rich?

trying to get some local.. shop sells sizes 258mm and 281mm are the 281mm for the rear maybe?

are the inner tie rods the same?

can anyone confirm this ..im being told that the r32 cars are all the same front tie rod end and rack...but my investigations lead me to believe they are different..
