    Mine came with a Kenwood MD Player. Bonus I thought 'cause my old car had a Sony one. But for some reason it won't play my Minidiscs. Plus there are no rear speakers. I'm planning on having an Alpine IVA-D300 head unit which I will run my Ipod through. Not sure about what kind of amps and speakers and subs and stuff yet. I'll have to speak to a couple of sound installers to see what they recommend.

    Neither. I'm from Smithton. A little town way up on the North West Coast. About 2.5 hours from Launny and about 5 hours from Hobart.

    When I say this I'll probably be banned from this site. I used to own a stock 1981 Toyota Corona with the Starfire engine. It had cowskin seat covers and a "CAUTION: Vehicle frequently sideways" sticker on the rear window. God I was the man. Actually I managed to get 160kmh out of her, but it spun the fan belt off and cooked. Mind you we still drove her home. Tough car. Tee hee.

    Ben. How do you change the bulbs in the climate control buttons? Can you just flick the buttons out?

    Is it O.K. to just fit lowered springs to the standard shocks? I think I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't do it. I'm quite happy with how it handles I'd just like it to ride a little lower. How long do the stock shocks normally last? My car has only done 35000ks.

    Why don't you just give both workshops a call? Go to whoever sounds like they'll do the best job.

    What you need is a Go Fast Bits Hybrid valve. You can adjust how loud they are. I fitted mine to my car in about 20 mins. Get one from Atuospeed.com or Modyourcar.com.au. I can't remember how much about $300 I think. Worth every cent.

    Hmmm I'll see how many pocahontas' I have left when I get my car resprayed on Tuesday and I'll get back to you. So in about a fortnight although I realise you'll probably have them sold by then.

    I have one of those cover thingys if someone wants it. It was just laying in the back of my car when I bought it and I don't imagine I'll need it.

    The problem was the tension on my spring was wound as loose at it would go. I just tightened it up abit and hey presto. Fixed.
