spotted silver gtst last night in church st parked..parramatta i drove past in the black r32

mate im asking my self that same question i know r32gtst run stock 9~10 psi, with after market exhaust and air filter you can expect it to jump up to a higher psi reading like 12ish but as i said above, cool nights, keeping an eye on the boost gauge its hitting 14~15psi and holding strong.

the flutter happens when your blow of valve is close or disconnected and boost travels back through the turbo > intercooler > out the airfilter. from what you said, it could be the tension on the bov. Check to see if its set to lose or tight. if its lose then theres your answer if its set to tight then it could be set in plumback mode check out the tension on the bov and get back to us. ps: the flutter isnt good for the turbo. my 3 cents

Hey, i would be a fine example of that... same mods as above 3 inch cat back exhaust, air filter. lately these cold nights i've been getting constant 15psi runs and during the day about 13~14psi Still have the same stock from cooler in the left hand side, no boost controller..yet running fine

had a 95 model charade and one time in the afternoon after topping the radiator up with coolant, i closed the bonnet...but it wasnt shut. mate called needed me over in a hurry, i jumped in took off no realising my bonnet wasnt closed properly and WAMM, at 60km/h the bonnet flung up and hit my windscreen and stayed there, i pulled over and started punched the dents out of the bonnet and then it wouldnt close proprly because the hinges were buckled..... haha

haha thats my mates car! well if you guys want an update regarding it, it was found 4 days later stripped and burnt to a crisp....

I'll be up for it, i'll ask afew friends to tag along in there r33s, might be able to round up about 4 r33s or so, i'll keep you posted but so far sounds good.

Ive got the same mods as ur self and im running 13~14psi without problems day in day out.... apart from the exhaust and air filter, everything else is stock

Jaff, mate of mine has r33 sII with 3"exhaust from turbo/airfilter/98ron fuel on 12psi, cool night @ WSID he ran a 13.5 pass which impressed us both...

yeh i wasnt heading towards the more power side of things, just cleaning injectors... you can tell the rest of the stuff is bull$hit... thanks for the advice

Just for security, this toluene sounds good, where do you get it from? my cars pretty much stock apart from air filter, exhaust tho its hitting 13~14psi consistantly has anyone run avgas in there skyline before?

Hey just wanted to see a quick show of hands who uses octane booster for there car. About once a month i buy wynns octane booster roughly around 15 bucks, not sure if it does anything, well i hope so.... says it cleans the injectors, minimises pinging and so on... Speaking to my local BP, the guy said he can get me 20L drum from BP rated at 100 over the 98 ultimate which i usually pump into the car...hasnt given me a price yet..
