Guys, driving to work this morning to liverpool i came across a site most of us dont want to see. It was the remains of a yellow, stockish looking r32. Appeared to be stolen dumped then set alight. If your the owner of that vehicle its near castlereigh st in liverpool next to the park. -B

His mate installed the head unit so i take it theres no warranty on the installation hehe, ummm if the volume goes up and down on its own i really think it wont be the wiring, Check the wiring again make sure its all ok. One test you can do but its a pain in the arse, this will tell you exactly where the problem lies. Fit it to another car or take it to a car audio place(strathfield car radios) and ask them to test it on there test bench(will only take 2 minutes to test), if the volume still goes spastic then send the unit back to pioneer to fix if not, then its something with the installation -B ps: just because the unit says its pioneer and its only few months old and costs over 1000$ doesnt mean it cant break down. I've used alpine h/u in my car and it hasnt failed since. Make sure you still have the paper work when u bought the unit and do what i said above

If you get some prof to make you a box, they will charge you some $$, not that im a tight arse but why dont you make a little project for your self, get a jigsaw, 18mm mdf from bunnings warehouse glue screws and begin making ur box, after its made you can either paint/carpet it which saves you some money to throw in your fuel tank or for partying on the weekend -B

Ive got the gfb type one, its pretty loud....but after install the bov my car started farting more from the exhaust and stalls some times which gives me the shits hard. might get a plumbed back one and it should fix my problems but yeh its pretty loud....i love the sizzle build up of boost from the turbo tho!

Damn right, dont even bother spending big bucks on ebay, you dont know what kind of condition the gear is in, how much its been used, how old it is, if its broken etc etc.... Any respectable car audio dealer should/would give you a discount if your going to spend that much moola.

Like some one said above, ur car isnt insured. If you really cared about your vehicle you would have it insured. An alarm system can only protect your car to a certain extent. Or you can go with the snake idea by onevia haha Or leave the car at home.

Just to let you know Evan im in sydney, i bought my R32line gtst 3 months ago for $14,000. guy was asking 15k. Never settle for the asking price. 1992 model type M r32 gtst had 97,000k's on clock From looking at the condition of the car i would say these are legit k's also the dude i brought it off imported it him self and had the car for 3 years. didnt have any mods besides exhaust. I found that there are more r32 gtst in melb for sale and are cheaper. well thats from my research. Took me 2 months to find this car and i havent had problem since *knock wood* Dont rush into it and dont buy the first car you see. also other info, car came with 12months rego. got quoted 2200$ for full insurance from classic. which i think is dirt cheap insurance for this type of vehicle and also me being 22 years old...

haha yeh thats it, got confused with the name.... When i was there they didnt have the part i was after but the dude said call in november as they will be getting another shipment of rooted cars front cuts etc etc. Funny thing is, the part you look for always seems to be around when you dont need it...

i am my cars turbo timer, like a tight arse, i take it easy on the last few kays approaching destination and then before exiting the car i let it idle for 1-2 minutes. Here in sydney we can get fined for leaving our cars running without owner/passenger in the car, also get fined if we leave cars unlocked while paying for petrol at the counter. F#!@& talk about revenue making schemes.....

You can also try jap spares in moorebank, not far from jetspeed/big o tyres there pretty helpful, i think i saw a rb20det and a rb26dett from r32 gtr about 2 months ago...give them a buzz
