i had the same problem, its definately your coils. sand down the inside of your coils LIGHTLY with a dremil drill to a nice shine, make sure you get the whole inside of it and stretch the spring a LITTLE...
this area:
then tape up the usual parts.
i'd SO be in if it was after the 5th as i get my lisence back then.
sorry guys, i want to start coming to these. i've missed out the last yr and a half (lisence gone bye byes), but ill definately make the next one.
has anyone installed a catch can on an r33?
i spent almost an hr today trying to find the perfect spot but couldnt find anywhere.
any suggestions?
Thanks guys.
hahahaha just the other night i was driving into the carwash place when i saw this guy washing his engine bay with a high pressure hose. once he tried to drive off it was running really rough and he didnt have a clue why..
its quality stuff to watch
its not that i want it to show more kw than it is on the street, im just asking questions on what to expect, and you guys have answered all of my queries.. are there any other things to look at besides fuel filter, spark plugs etc?
i just want a clean run.
well ill get 3 runs anyway, ill do one on 10, one on 12 and another on 14 and see how i go from there.
how much power should i be expecting?
ive got a 3" turbo back, k&n pod, fmic.
im about to put my car on the dyno. right now my spark plugs are gapped at .8, but i fixed my coils (sanded the inside of them) over 2 months ago and havent gotten one single misfire since. i want to know if i can re-gap them to 1.1 to allow for a bigger spark. i'll be running 14psi on the day.
also, what are some things i can look at before putting it on the dyno?
i was just wondering if it was possible to advance the timing on my car. i use 98 octane fuel and ive got a few mods and i want to take advantage of them.
What is the stock TDC, and which TDC is safe for an rb25det with the usual stage 1 mods?
the bit that clips onto the bracket is the part that pokes out, its pretty clear as there is nowhere else that will clip onto the bracket. but to get it out just get your hand in there and pull it out, it shouldnt be too much trouble.
fuel level sender looks like this on the r33, it would look similar for the r32 i imagine...
it mounts onto a bracket not very far into the fuel tank... looks a little something like this..
the piping part is all good, thanks. i just want to know EXACTLY how and where to mount the top brackets, the bottom ones look really good on your car, i just couldnt see where the top ones went to.
