  5. thanks champs...I like the cooler too!!!! I am sure we will be able to mount it as we just did the same cooler on a 200sx... keep yous all pozted! with the DYU
  6. Hey guys...just picked up my birthday Super Hybrid Intercooler today..sweet! Just a quick question, after seeing NCE 032, the Gun/Grey R32 and it's front mount, I am wondering how they got it mounted so flush with the front bar??? How much cutting was needed etc? Here is a pick my FMIC up against the car... I will post a photo of NCE 032 in a reply... Any suggestions would be great!:burnout:
  7. I have tried writing in but it did me no good. If you acknowlege you were in the wrong then you have nothing to write in about... I suppose I have this attitude because I have 12 points back now and am loving it. I know EXACTLY how you feel in regards to this ticket, but it is the only way we all learn!
  8. Problems...last night I ruptured the gasket from my manifold to my turbo by hitting a fence stop under my car (too low)... Have purchased 3 gaskets from Nissan for $178>engine-manifold, Manifold-turbo, turbo-dump... Am fixing this on the weekend and will update on progress. Intercooler will have to be the following weekend. Am going to Mt Cotton on the 7th June, so everything has to be ready to rock'n'roll!
  9. I am going for the 660 cooler, it is a good middle ground for the upgraded turbo in the midst...
  10. Will have pics later tonight of the 880 versionb Hybrid cooler on my mates girls 200SX, it is PHAT! The sound is awesome too, and the T28's wastegate sounds great also, flapping when you come off the throttle.
  11. Correct Predator 666, I am just deciding whether to go for the 800x300x76 cooler from Power Digga in Sydney or the 600x300x76. I have been told that the 600 still flows a truck load more than my current std cooler, and the 800 may just increase the lag a little too much. I think that the 600 cooler will deliver a good base for future upgrades turbo as I don't want to go CRAZY!!! Thanks for the responses guys! Has anyone bought a VG30 Turbo as an upgrade for a 32, where can I get one and for how much (can fit myself-with mates)
  12. How much can you pick up a RB25 turbo for or a 300ZX turbo for? What kind of performance gain is possible on either of these turbos and where can I get one?
  13. I concur Meggala! But under my current driving conditions I feel that the reduced induction temps will keep my engine a little healthier and therefore more responsive to ungrades in the turbo area soon! Plus the look of the cooler is gold! I have earmarked $1,500 for a fully set-up T28 from a 200sx running 1.05 BAR boost, and reprogrammed eprom
  14. I'm getting a big Front Mount fitted in a couple of weeks and am curious as to what increase in performance I will get??? I have just shy of 200 Ponies at the rears which is OK for now, but want more. Will it be laggy with the current 0.9 BAR boost? Will my BOV be louder as it is already quite loud?
  15. Thanks Ozzy! Some of those bone heads expect us to just drop the cash on them and trust their opinion without getting a second... Thus I will never go back to those guys!
  16. Yes just jap, had it for 3 weeks, and if it was slipping already I would be pretty pissed off! My last clutch was a button one as well; Excedy, and it has double springs on the centre = shudder. The new one from Just Jap only has single springs, so I am sure this is why I don't have as much shudder anymore. My last clutch lasted about 8 months I think, and cost me $2,000 because my mechanic did not know what he was doing. (He used to work on my Excel so that explains that!!!) This change over with new (2nd Hand) Flywheel cost about $850 for parts and some booze for the mates who helped me change it (I am very lucky because labour would have killed my bank account). No slip at all, just a lot of 3rd and 4th gear chirping. It was bedded in correctly also which is a must. As I don't think my last clutch was bedded in because it lasted such a little amount of time. (That may also have something to do with my take no prisioners driving)...
  17. I have a GREDDY Oil Press Gauge and It reads about 4 BAR @ around 3,000 RPM in fifth on the HWY. At idle it will go down below 2 BAR (1.5). I have noticed that after my last service where I put in some better oil, my press is @ 3.9 BAR at the same HWY revs (interesting). Is this due to the better viscosity of the oil running at slightly less pressure?
  18. oh ooo! Sounds like you need to contact www.justjap.com.au Clutches as really good prices etc... My 32 is just GTS-t, and I launch @ about 5,000 RPM, and have to feather the clutch a little to stop the wheel spin, but if I get it right I can waste most cars, except faster Skylines of course
  19. I have this exact problem as well, I noticed my rears were down to the belts in about 6 months after purchase. My 32 is lowered quite a bit on std rims, and it chewed them out really quick. I was told to get all new suss @ around $2,000 (RIM ME). So I will just do the swap over tyres from side to side until I want to pay for the real fix, I have been told that to swap over 2 rears from rim to rim is about $10...cheap as! My tyre guy told me that it was all due to the extensive lowering.
  20. yes, better acceleration due to less rotational mass, quicker rmp building, but will slow down quicker on the hwy and chew a little more fuel. I am a sales rep and drive my 32 for work, and have done for 18 months, the difference in fuel consumption is basically nil...so don't change your slywheel either way because of that, I can only notice a slight difference in rmp build speed versus my old lightened flweheel. However I am sure on any high horse power GTS T or GTR that the difference would be much more noticable...
  21. Here is a profile shot of the flywheel...if you have seen a standard, you will no just how much has been cut out of it to lighten it!!!
