  1. Don't just change the turbo for something to do, run as much boost (1.0 Bar ) as you can, and wait till it dies, that way you will learn the art of drift before you get ahead of yourself and smash the car because you can't handle the power that all these described mods will give you. I have Std Turbo, Cooler, HKS filter, Blitz BOV, T'Smart Boost Ctrl, Cat back Zorst and my car made 198.9 RWHP on 0.7 Bar boost I think not bad...that's 148.8 RWKW I think (Correct me if I am wrong)
  2. I had the exactly same problem on my R32, but I smashed the lip about 3 days after I bought the car... I then ripped it off after about 4 months of looking at and saying, that just looks sheizenhausen! No Problem, front bar fixed.
  3. BUT it sounds COOL...RIGHT??? Maybe not 90% of your driving time tho, that'd be a little annoying! I can get mine to back fire any time usually, just nail it and the back off real quick, if no back fire, lightly tap the Loud Pedal and you should hear the fruits of your labour. I think my plugs need replacing now, but that's OK...
  4. I am looking at doing the exact same mod, I love the sound of my RB 20 DET and I want to make it howl even more, I can't see a problem with taking out the rear resonator and leaving in the stainless muffler in! Lets get to work!!!
  5. I got 198.8 RWHP with stock turbo, stock mgmt and stock cooler. On Cramer's Dyno in Toowoomba (QLD). I was quite happy with that! Both the RB20 and RB25 are great engines that sound PHAT! Any questions?
  6. Quick Question...In my R32, I don't have an Air Bag Wheel, yet it clearly states on the visor something referring to SRS AIR BAG. Does this mean that my car should have an Airbag, and it doesn't? I have an R32 GTS-T October 1992 Build date. Thanks
  7. R31 Chick...nice one, I am honoured to have been included in your Screen Saver! I own the 2nd Skyline...the White R32! Thanks again... I have shit loads more photos of my car if you were doing another Screen Saver! Thanks:burnout:
  8. What ever you do, don't go to Brisbane Street Machines. GOOOOOONE!

    Photos of Your cars

Here are a couple of photos which I think have been posted previously...Love the Skylines (But you already knew that)!
  10. Hope I am not too late in registering my interest in both the Skid-Pan day and the Drift Day (Tarmac or dirt)! It is raining this morning (Sat 21st) and I am off to Coopers Plains to the industrial estates to perfect my styles... You guys just tell me when and where and I will be there. My ceramic Exceedy button Clutch has only been in for about 6 months and it already wont chirp into 2nd anymore, so the sooner the better for me, I will have to replace it again with something like a twin-plate clutch soon. (MORE CASSSSSH :burnout: ) Very interested...keep me posted please.
  11. I have done the same mod to my R32 and it looks heaps better! I have just got some white gaff tape over the holes at present till I overhaul the bodykit! Looks tough tho Mine is dropped on it's titties too which makes it look even better! See...
  12. What type of boost controller did you buy? Search for a link so I can have a look and I will be able to sort it for you. I will go down and have a look at exactly where my air flows to and from and the directions... Keep your eyes peeled
  13. The arrow on the boost controller needs to point towards the wastegate. Do you know where that is on the turbo? Will wait for your response... I can take photos of mine if you have difficulty and email them to you.
  14. I will jump on the band wagon here... That Green looks well PHAT! Nice one bruvva!
  15. Is the T04 the standard Turbo??? I have standard engine/turbo/intercooler with 3'' exhaust, Blitz BOV, HKS filter and Turbosmart Bleed Valve wound out to 0.95 bar. (14PSI) The car runs fine and I love the boost response. I have no problems with running these sorts of pressures, but I am waiting for the turbo to say goodnight, so I can give her some real boosting!!! My car is religiously serviced every 7500 to 10000 k's and she gets the good oil!
  16. Was that directed to me Inark? If so, decifer please... Cheers
  17. It is horses for courses guys... I have a R32 so I therefore like the Skylines... No one has mentioned the sound of the engines... At full noise the SR20DET sounds very nice, but right through the rev range, a nicely exhausted Skyline in RB20DET, 25DET or 26DETT sound soooo much better. Angry and tough is how I would describe it.:burnout:
  18. Very good topic guys... I have a Blitz Super Sound BOV and it is very loud and to the point (you can adjust the tension and the ferocity of it too)! I have been wanting to change it for a little while now. A friend of mine owns what used to be dubbed 'IFLI2', the Purple GSR with EVO 3 Kit. Cameron has a HKS Super Sequential and is sounds hot. I guess I just want a change... Anyone want to swap a Blitz SS for a HKS SQV???
  19. Thank-you for those kindish words Blurple!?! What was that about your front bar??? hehehe:shake:
  20. Nice one Bruvvas This forum is great...Skyline owners heaven!!! Look forward to meeting up with some of you who live in Brisbane. Clinton...
  21. Hello 1 and all! Clinton is me and I drive an R32 GTS-T...see below I live in Brisbane and love to cruise! I was just down the Gold Coast this afternoon... There were some amazing hotties on the street, out and about for Schoolies>>> I am a member of www.drivelinechatter.com (check it out) Just seeing whats doing, would like to chat with like-minded Nissan enthusiasts! Any hints to extract more power out of my R32. I currently have 198.8 Horses at the rears (Dyno Dynamics Dyno @ Cramer Diesel Toowoomba) Standard turbo, 0.9 bar boost, std intercooler (I don't know how), Blitz BOV, HKS filter (which I found out has very limited filtration) Stainless Exhaust with angle mounted muffler. Let me know what you drive My best time on the 1/4 is 14.707 @157.89KM/H
