  1. Another vote for shannons here. I pay ~$990 per year, 26 rating 1 for life, agreed value of $16k, and $300(??) basic excess. Thats on an R33 GTSt Ser 1 with mods of susp, exhaust, kit, wheels, stereo, momo wheel. And any future mods they are fine with. Best quote I could get.
  2. Friend of mine works for GPA engineering. Local consulting firm that deals quite a bit with Santos, SA Water, Zinifex etc. Based locally with a fair bit of site work. Could be another good option, as sometimes the big companies you listed tend to forget you're a person, and think you are just a cheap resource
  3. Spotted SKY-095 4 door on Pultney St this morning
  4. Congrats Astro on the offers, nice to sort it out now rather than the end of the year. What have you been studying?
  5. Spottd at the Mile End Homemaker Centre: Black R32, BN(??) kit, white Starcoprp Impul rims, looked the goods
  6. cheers for the link
  7. **Singing** Come fly with me
  8. 240 would never be a drifter Circuit racer all the way
  9. personally, it would be an RB26 in a 240Z. Has been done, but by so few.. mmmmm RB goodness, old school style 8)
  10. Wow, Thanks for pointing that out. So the verdict is still out then LOL
  11. Hey, these are my rims!! Enkei Circlar, mine are 17*8 + 17*9. How much did they cost you to have the centre re-sprayed? I want to get the lip polished on mine (very dull) and get the centre's painted a dark grey... Just after idea's on prices. Cheers!!
  12. Spotted a Silver Stagea with ICI (Iron Chef Import) sticker on the front of the drivers side skirt in Tam O'Shanter place in the city (next to city holden). Seen it on Pirie St a few times too, anyone here?
  13. Good to see there is plenty of interest It will be a few weeks away, as I have a route planned out, but would probably run it first to make sure my directions and the roads are good Will let people know the date soon, looking at early July I reckon
  14. Hey all, Well in the last couple of months I have had my '33 there have been a few night cruises which is great, but nothing on a Sunday (which suits me a lot better). SO I was thinking of running some sort of sunday avo cruise, but want to guage what sort of interest there is. The friday night ones seem reasonably well attended, and sometimes rather quickly paced. The idea of the Sunday Cruise is a nice drive on a Sunday Avo, nothing to quick, nothing too slow. Im thinking of a reasonable length cruise, possibly to Mannum or similar distance (150-200km round trip). I realise weather is a bit on or off this time of year, but thinking it's worth a shot. So let me know, who would be able to make it on a Sunday? Lee
  15. Do you mean where abouts do I live? I live southside, Sheidow Park you? In the past I have got my tyres from Bob Jane on Pultney Street as we knew the previous owner for years before he sadly passed. Now the new owner still seems to cut us reasonable deals, but not great like the old owner used to. But on topic, The wheels look tops on the '34. I Think Gold callipers, Black writing
  16. Well I didnt get a price from Outlaw, but the listed price in the comparo is $79.99 compared to $92.99 for the Motul 8100 Excess, which you can get for cheaper than that. By value for money, i meant for similar dollars to Motul, get far better protection for a full synthetic. For a Semi synthetic, seems the Valvoline durablend is the go. Its all in the PDF I attached to my post
  17. Guys, Was just enquiring about gearbox oils at the Outlaw Speed Shop here in Adelaide, and got to talking about engine oils too. I was passed on this article to read/keep and had to share with everyone as it has some REAL eye openers. I will more than likely be using the Royal Purple next, far and above the others for value for money I reckon. Almost makes me want to dump the Motul 8100 excess in there now!. However got to say that the Valvoline shocked me! Cheers Lee Oil_Compar.pdf
  18. Paully, can you ask your cousin how much for S03's in 235/45/17 (for my skyline) and in 205/50/17 (for my SP23)
  19. Salad, being electronic driven in the 33's, there is no Power steer fluid going to the rear, thus no link between hicas and power steer fluid levels. So has anyone identified which wire it is for the R33's? I pulled the fuse on hicas to make sure it won't operate (until I can get a lock bar) and the light is giving me the shits!
  20. Spotted a black R32 Lowered with R34GTT wheels on Winston Ave yesterday morning. Also spotted maroon 33 Tuesday evening, driving next to him on my way home up goodwood rd/five ash drive.
  21. Chris, your PM box is full, Delete some old msgs!!
  22. I know its not a tune, but these were quotes for 100k service: Boostworx ~$600 Hi-Tech ~$800 And the clencher Tilbrook's ~$1250 !!!!! You make up your mind about value for money
  23. Not for me this weekend Chris. Coil's are coming out saturday morning, so maybe in a few weeks time
  24. I think you missed the point of my post. I wasn't saying that I you shoul never speed, however, There is literally no "perfect safe" place to do it. I agree that when overtaking, do it as quick as reasonably possible (you are reducing the time on the wrong side) and then return to the speed limit as quick as possible. This way you have reduced the risk which was the point of my post. You can only ever reduce the risk, you can never eliminate it. That is what I was trying to point out
  25. I pulled in behind you in the Blue SP23 (daily). I intended to look for some gearbox oil, the had sweet FA there. Outlaw speed shop is getting what I need now
