  1. I think Madaz was referring to Evil's situation of living in his car I haven't known anyone who has bought from DMD so can't say. From all opinons on bodykits, it seems to be a personal opinon on fitment. What could be good fitment to someone may be completely unacceptable to someone else. So my sugestion for you is to buy from DMD if they are reasonably cheap, and then if you have to pay $$ to have it modified to fit then it would have cost you the same as an expensive kit. If it fits nice first time, then you have saved some $$, if not, then you have a decent fitting kit (with the modifications) at a similar price to an expensive one. Just make sure the body-shop who fits it has plenty of experience in bodykits
  2. /\ That's true. It's more of a one time fix I suppose, or if you have your car to a stage where you're not making any more mods.... but we all know that never happens LOL
  3. R32 remap can be done by Jeff from The Speed Lab. ns.com users all rave about him, have no personal experience. He also did a big thread on there about it in the Forced Performance section. Give him a try, often can work out cheaper and better than an SAFC on the 32's I believe.
  4. Looks good, and welcom to SAU!
  5. What sort of exhaust did it have? looking for 3" dump & front pipes and 3" cat
  6. Out of interst, did you young guys (19/20) with 34's actually pay for them with savings, or have car/personal loans to get them at your age? If you paid cash, can I get in on whatever drugs you are selling LOL
  7. Ages are starting to even out. I guess its the "Friday Night Crowd" that is the youngans LOL. I'm very interested in this sunday cruise Paully made mention of. For Sunday cruises my wife will usually come along too, she hates being out late on friday nights just sitting in the car, although she usually looks for other lass's to talk to. So begs the next Q: Am I one of a few Married ppl on here too? Or even in long term relationships? Just trying to get to know the ppl I chat too
  8. Just as I thought, many a whipper snapper! except for Madaz Look forward to meeting more ppl next cruise though, was a bit dark at the start of Friday Nights to try to see/meet anyone and I had to leave from Barker.
  9. Fishpaste: You car looked mighty fine Friday night, not sure what needs tidying up? SO: Being a wasteland and a place for general chat, how old are people on here? On the cruise on friday night I was feeling a little old considering my cousin who is 8 years younger than me was there and most ppl seemed his age LOL Im 26, 27 in 2 months. What's others ages?
  10. Just had a look at your printout from GW. Nice flat AFR there, are you running a PFC or SAFC? or is that just on stock ECU?
  11. Looks good Madaz
  12. Madaz: This your beast? Who's is this? And this one?
  13. Umm, no piccie Fishpaste
  14. Anyone help with the camera location??? (as requested /\ )
  15. Chris: LOL at selling the missus. I would NEVER Try that,..... I think it would become "4 weeks a month" out of aciton if that happened LOL
  16. Sinful: Too true about the house (and wife) restricting things. I have been in my house now for 18 months, and only just got the '33 last month. However, I've only MENTINED about spending money on the car, and already I have been hit with We need a new fridge, We need a new bedroom setting You need to do the weeding You need to paint the screen in the back yard You need to put a phone line to the alarm Blah blah blah, I've only spent 1 day working on the 'line so far!! LOL
  17. Well that was eventful! The 180 that crashed was right in front of me (i was in front of Chris REdgtst) and he just went into the corner way too hot, locked it up at the last minute and headon into the rail stopped to see if they were ok but the car was well McF**ked. Im guessing inurance writeoff or big fixup As for the Camera, can someone tell me EXACTLY where they thought it was? I went home via uppersturt rd and didnt see anything that resembled a camera, but I dont know if I saw a flash either :S Here's hoping there wasn't. Pixel8r: Chris said his car was pinging like crazy and he had to back a few degrees out the timing. He was on 95 fuel though because thats all he could get, but yes he had issues. Paully, look forward to a sunday cruise (and a few less incidents!!) Lee
  18. Can someone tell me how much it is to send coilovers to Melbourne from Adelaide (or a similar distance) as I have had some enquiries but haven't got them out the car yet. Thanks!
  19. Trav: PKBlade does them for SA if you want to source locally: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=138964 I just got some off him, good quality stickers
  20. I have a question about Pedders "comfort Gas". When asking them whether they were monotube or twin tube the only answer they would give me is "it has our new VRD system, which adjusts the shock for all conditions" so I dont thin the sales guy knew. Now looking at the pics on their website, it gives NO indication of what they are. Gary, can you shed some light on these?
  21. Personally, I have Maxxis MA-V1's on the front as for $150 per tyre they are a reasonable comprimise between cheap Chinese tyres ($105 tyres) and dearer tyres such as Toyo's, bridgestone etc ($220+) in 235/45/17. The bottom line is I simply didnt have enough cash at the time I needed tyres, and I know my tyres aren't the best, therefore I drive my car accordingly. I simply won't push it right to the limits of the suspension, because I know the tyres will let go first, and as with everything in life its just about compromise
  22. "beauty is only a light switch away" doesn't always work LOL
  23. Spotted today at around 12:45pm, white R33 GTR parked at Hindmarsh square on the south east corner near adelaide bank. BIG offset gold rims with polished lip, looked a little dirty, but good all the same Also, spotted Black 33 with GTR wing and skirts this morning. Can't remember where but in the city somewhere.
  24. well as long as the weather is good, I shall be there. Cherry popper in the 33 for me!!
  25. Sorry, I was reffering to the R32 issue with compliance and no rego. If the car is registered in Victoria in his name, yes that is correct that he only need to go to Motor Reg, no inspection required. A friend of mine bought an S15 in QLD, had it in his name in QLD and when brought it here, just off to motor reg. No inspections required.
