  1. Agreed Paully. Get some definate numbers and make it at a Cafe. Realise not everyone has heaps of time, but by booking somehwere, can garuntee quick seat and order as soon as we get there to save time.
  2. Agrred was definately a success. Will probably look to do it again in a couple of weeks time. Also, I will know at least 1 other person attending the cruise this Sunday
  3. ^ Tokyo drift style yo! LOL however, you are right that this system works, until the theives start carrying their own quick release wheels, 30A fuses and whatever other tools they want. You will only ever stop the oportunists, not the dedicated theives that want your car, and will have the tools to do so. Easiest way, don't park it where you dont have to!
  4. You meeting up with us today Brendan? If not catch ya on Sunday for sure
  5. Yup I'll be there, also 6'4" but will have on Brown Jag Jumper so should be easy to find 2 tall guys amongst the crowd
  6. Anyone watch Initial D on SBS last night? First time i seen it, and must say, WTF with all the jumping screen shots, and freezing frames LOL. Then again, I've never seen the cartoons either so wouldnt have a clue how it compares to the action scenes in teh cartoon. Overall, average movie I think, but amusing none the less.
  7. Have you read post 33 here? Click Here They are doing something, but if people are going to steal cars, the cops can't stop em all. We can stop them by having quality alarm systems, club locks and any other deterrant you can think of. Best of all, don't park them in easy to steal places like dark corners of car parks etc. Sucks to hear that another is stolen though.
  8. Hey guys (and gals) Cruise is heading east then south returning to the southern suburbs. Extra PM's have been sent to ukai, Turbz 13 and Race_24
  9. ^ And it depends where and how she's driving. I've been on the road for 10 years now, in cars with various states of modification and never been pulled over for "inspection" once. I have been pulled into bretho's and let go too.. So just depends on 80% luck, and the rest common sense for driving I say.
  10. Looking a bit better
  11. Umm, isn't the joker the 53rd card? ie. 52+1? How is it the 49th?
  12. Thats a good idea cubes, that will be the option next time LOL
  13. PMs now sent to all those that requested. PS: the PM system here SUCKS! LOL had to send em all individually
  14. I have to say, PM system on here SUCKS!! How come you can't PM to mutiple users? Had to send out 47PM's individually for the cruise most boards at least let you separate users with a ; for up to 50 users............
  15. Well not getting too much concensus happneing here.. Fishpaste~ I think lunch rush would be 12:00-1:00, so 1:00 shouldn't bee too bad. I'll be at City-X Rundle Mall Entry at 1:00 this friday. Hopefully someone else turns up LOL
  16. I was just speaking to Todd at Outlaw speed shop. Drag's won't be happening till AT LEAST next year. This was from a guy who spoke to the Manager of the track I believe. I asked if delays were still over the court case and not spending money, and aparently it is no longer the ownership court case that is causing NO money to be spent, but Bob Jane's divorce procedings. Bob has sweet FA money, and she wants half, so this is causing him to spend nothing on anywhere, as he may now lose them to his wife or have to sell them. So there you go, rhumor mill worked overtime again
  17. Look in the Forced Induction section. There are plenty of threads on the various engine managments. OR alternatively look down the page a bit in teh SA section for Cubes thread on adapting the RB26 PFC via Boostworx
  18. I ususally lunch at my desk (bring it from home). So personally I'm aiming for Coffee meetup but others are welcome to have lunch, so I think Fishpaste~'s idea of a food court should work as it seems not many ppl have long for lunch. A split meetup would take too much of peoples time/people not show up. So I think for (at least) the 1st meet it should be City X at 1:00pm this Friday. Perhaps meet at the Mall Entry end?
  19. Sorry Fishpaste~ - What is your name then? LOL (not sure why I thought andrew, oops) I was thinking Alfresco as there should be reasonable seating for all and can just have coffee there or food, up to them. Spices etc/ would expect you to eat I think? As for City X- if there is reasonable seating (ie. doesnt fill up too much at lunch) we could meet there too. I'd be happy to meet at City X if Fishpaste~ or someone can say there should be enough seats?
  20. Far out, there's more than I thought! Seems like most people don't have that long for lunch, so how about we just meet for a coffee at lunch time? That way ppl only really need about 30-40 mins? I'm thinking if we meet at (say) Alfresco on Rundle St THIS Friday at 1:00? What do people think? If not everyone can make it this week, we'll be sure to do it again soon, and possibly regularly (every fortnight?)
  21. Going from the spotted thread, it seems there are a few of us who work in the city: MissR34 (Cara) Myself (Lee) Fishpaste (Andrew) Paully If there is anyone else in the city, make yourself known. It was suggested by Andrew that we have an SAU lunch catch up at one of the food courts, maybe City X. Sounds good to me! If people don't want to/have time to meet up at lunch, how about just coffee catch up then in Rundle St/Mall? What are people up for, im happy for either. Cheers Lee
  22. Unfortunately not looking real great weather wise at the moment. Will have to wait and see how it pans out, but should still happen unless its POURING down all day. And I can confirm, the PM system on here sucks!! only 1 PM at a time, taking me ages LOL
  23. You got a ride now? Must be still in his 72 hours grace huh? Also, you live south too then?
  24. I know there used to be an adjustment screw on my R31 AFM (bosch unit) however Im not sure about the R33 AFM. Would be interesting to know if there is an adjustment pot, but I probably wouldn't mess with it myself. The car is going to Boostworx in a couple of weeks for a new water pump. I'll speak to Shaun and get him to do what he can (not that i'm expecting much)
  25. Have done some searching regarding Resistor in line with the AFM circuit. Now the argument I have read is that you won't get any more "flow" out the the AFM if you are maxing it out, and Z32 is your best bet. I can sort of understand this, but I fail to see why this wouldn't help with the rich running of the stock ECU if it's not maxing out? IF it puts out lower volts accross the whole range, then should it not think "less airflow, less fuel"?? ie. in my case, the AFM is 4.7V at max load, and obviously fuelling accordingly. If the volts were dropped to around 4.0 or similar (with a check on a dyno) surely this would help? If I am missing something, can someone please explain it to me?
