Krastler, I'm fairly certain that in NSW the registration doesnt include compulsary third party and they have to get a "green slip" or "pink slip" or something on top of that. SA Rego is for registration and compulsory third party... unless you can shed some other light on this? I think VIC may pay slightly less, but its economy of scale. You think of all the extra cars they have on their roads, and we have MORE roads to look after. Therefore to be able to drive from here to the borders, we have to cover greater distance per capita for road works. So if you want to drive on dirt tracks like in the 70's we can pay less

Just an update: Had my first "decent" flex through the Adelaide hills yesterday. Was amazed at the way the car handled! Some of the roads were rather rough, and the car gripped beautifuly. I never had any problems keeping with the group, and when I had the chance to lead for a while, well I didnt see them for a bit LOL VERY impressed when on roads that aren't perfectly smooth, and even those that are

After having the Maxxis MA-V1's (235/45/17) on my 33 for around a month now and having my first real flex through the Adelaide hills yesterday avo, all I can say is I'm definately impressed! At $149 a tyre I wasn't expecting heaps, but they just held well yesterday. The roads were a mixture of wet and dry, and the grip was excellent in both. The grip was very progressive, giving indication as to when it felt like it was about to let go, and when it did it was easily controlled again. A very stable and good value tyre with good allround grip.

Yeh 2nd group was flick, Tangles and the rest. The first group to leave Barker (myself, sinista, hostile etc) was about nine of us.. we waited in blackwood for about 45 mins (till around 4:40) but no-one showed so I presumed everyone else had moved on..... oh well doesnt matter now, was just curious. Would love to see photo's people have (esp. my car )

Glad you all enjoyed the route. Tried to have a mix of twisty's and straights, which I think was a reasonable balance Im still trying to work out where the 2nd group went from Mt Barker. Did you all make it down to Strath first before coming back to Meadows, or did you all shortcut straight to Meadows? And did anyone from the 2nd group stop in Blackwood?

Glad everyone liked the route, and everyone seemed well behaved. Pace was good fun, wihtout being crazy, and no word of silly moves or actions, much appreciated all Found 2 slip ups in the notes, but seems everyone had fun, will be happy to organise another one in the future. Was also good to put names to faces What happened to everyone going through strath?! LOL There was a group of 9 of us that were following me once we left Barker, but never saw anyone else again. Even waited for about 45 mins at the final meet point at Coles Blackwood... nothing! EDIT: Actually looking at the pics and the slip up in the notes, seems that ppl may have turned right straight after barker and headed straight to meadows, bypassing strath and Paris Creek Rd????

Bah, some people f**k it up for everyone

Hey guys When organising a cruise this week, I went to send PM's to those interested, and I had to do them all one at a time!! I have been used to fordforums.com.au and a number of other forums powered by vBulletin where you can PM multiple users by separating each user with a semicolon (; ). This method allows you to PM up to 50 users at once, and saves copy and pasting, sending and creating a new message 50 times. Can we implement this feature here to make life easier for organising events etc where multiple PMs are required? Cheers Lee
