  1. No airbag, i have a 95 r33 gts. I don't think any came with an airbag. I like the look of wood but is it shit to drive with? Do I also need to buy an aftermarket boss kit from the brand i buy the wheel from? or is the boss kit separate and does that fit on all aftermarket steering wheels? (1 size fit all)
  2. I'll be happy to make the interstate LOL Yeah i can't see anything happening to your car just by spinning it out while drifting. Of course you're going to spin out while learning. Just try not to hit a wall or someone else's car because insurance won't cover it. But if you flog a car doing any type of driving something will go snap soon. but that's a different question.
  3. Not selling n/a car to p plater and buying turbo. Building own turbo car.. like a baaws! Might do the same to my gts r33. Respect
  4. Should be alright as long as you don't hit anything. I have the same car in manual. If your mate lives in Sydney i'll pay him if i can use it
  5. I have ruined my steering wheel from using a steering lock. The sun/heat sticks the metal to the leather steering wheel and peals it off. So I'm going aftermarket. I like the look of wooden by nardi. also suede d shape by key!s Can someone with experience recommend material and shape of wheel. Pros and cons. Cheers.
  6. That's an awesome key ring, do they make them for r33's Tail lights look to close together because it's on an angle Burnt all r32 owners
  7. Disregard price in add. PM me for offer/ wanting to book an appointment. Wheels never scratched/ tyres good thread left 4 and 5 spoke was on r33 gts. should fit most cars. http://www.gumtree.com.au/m-my-ad.html?adId=1064872112
  8. It has an auto mode without even using the paddles. Then you have semi auto, when you press a paddle it shifts almost instantly. I'm not hating on the r35, i obviously love the car and if i had the money to buy one and maintain it i'd do it in a heartbeat. but still i hate seeing manual coming to an end into the future and the internal combustion engine itself.
  9. True dat^ go with his advice, disregard mine. I bet the majority are turned back anyway
  10. Just kidding but i don't really care. change it to what ever you want
  11. I was just watching this podcast and a bit past 1 hour and 30 minutes that discussion started. If you need it to sit in traffic go auto, paddle shift w/o clutch. For a weekend car I don't see why you would want anything but a manual with clutch. He nailed the hammer on the head. even though r35s are autos it's kind of the exception because it's a beast but i think i'd miss manual at the same time. Why not make a r35 manual option? I want to buy a c63 when i can afford one but don't know if i would get bored without manual. Worth a watch/listen
  12. Yeah just explain with receipts up to the date you changed it when you sell it
  13. Either stolen or bought cheap, flogged without plates on it (no rego) My mum claimed because her car is f**ked with wheel axle bent (maybe written off) but my excess is so much i'll just fix it myself Cheers guys
  14. I might want an s15 for my first turbo car anyway I love those cars.
  15. they said it on the news. i heard it to. but the news is f**king stupid. they always say shit and just assume it's true because someone on twitter said it.
  16. I don't know how he got away, one lucky sob if you ask me, The bang was loud enough to wake up most the people in my street. So a couple of different people got a glance of it. But they all just woke up so no number plates because he was gone to fast. one guy said dark silver around 2003 commodore. pretty common car so very slim chances of finding him.
  17. No cameras in my area. i know where he was coming from because i can see skid marks but unfortunately no one with cameras out side of their house. No shops nearby. Trail ended, did not find the car. So unfortunately he got away. He hit my mums car, absolutely destroyed undrivable but it span it 90 degrees and my car has front bumper pushed down/ paint. so i was lucky. mums car wasn't He had a old commodore and hit pretty hard so hopefully he hurt himself with no airbags. He reversed out instantly after impact. He's radiator would have been f**ked from the amount of coolant on the road. He had been driving it hard before so the car was prob all ready hot and then he drove it hard to get away. so he got pretty lucky getting away with it.
  18. Clutch does get annoying in traffic if it's a hard clutch. my skyline gives me a pump in my left gastrocnemius after a long day of city driving. but other than that i love using a clutch and shifting gears. feeling more connected to the car rather then just pressing a button and it up shifting for you. I wouldn't call paddle shift manual. Should be called semi- automatic. But still the r35 gtr without clutch is still obviously going to be fun no matter what with launch control etc. Oh I also hate having manual with clutch on a steep hill when someone park millimeters behind me
