  1. I use Fuchs Super GTO which is 10w-30 Synthetic I have had no issues or dramas or anything like that because of it. pretty good value at $45.00 for 5 litres
  2. I had a similar problem with my front tyres as well but mine was from when I park my car I then was turning the steering wheel to engage the steering lock and after time when I went to get some new tyres i noticed chunks missing on both front tyres. could be the same but then could be not
  3. Rotormaster in Sydney has a supercharger kit for the RX8 it utilise the standard exhaust and everything but has a substantial powe rincrease. I believe a pro Charger is used which is sourced from the states
  4. I was ther only as a spectator for a change but I was overall quite happy with the way the day was run it seemed as a low key affair but it was a enjoyable atmosphere the missus and I suffered a little sunburn but no complaints for the day. also scored some free tickets to tonights street meet so heading out there tonight as well

  9. Roughly 10 + so I cannot be exact as I am not really involved in the organising just going along to put my car on and see how much power it has
  10. I am putting this up for a friend Saturday Afternoon/Evening a DYNO COMP will be held at Uni Group Engineering Unit 17 17a Amax Avenue Girraween NSW from 4pm onwards Insert from original post is below from Sydneycruising.com Hey! We finally organised that Dyno Day from a year ago If anyone is still interested, the rates get cheaper as we get more cars, we will be holding a bbq and have plenty of drinks and snacks.. It will be held at a workshop at Girraween and the cost is $50 for 3 Dyno Runs with printout. That is for 1-10 cars. If we manage to get 10-20 it goes down to $45 each... So its a good idea to get heaps of people along to dyno so it makes it cheaper for everyone!!! It will be from about 4pm until as late as it needs to be (10? maybe later)..... We will have 9 categories of trophies on the night, 8 for each class, fwd, turbo, 4, 6 8 etc. and one special voting category for PEOPLES CHOICE. That is for the car everyone likes the most that night It is open to all 2wd whether front wheel drive or rear wheel drive ok cannot see many FWD's being here but covering all bases
  11. was a good race you were catching me in the top end of the track. I got knocked out in the next round
  12. oh and thanks Fitz for the compliment
  13. I have to agree this years Supernats was awesome had time in between runs to head up into the grandstands and watch the big boys play little dissapointed though as the heat worked against me all day with some new Falkens I could not get anywhere near my best time. Did have some issues though with intercooler piping though. 13.9 was the best for the day. Had fun doing burnouts on the supercruise though
  14. I will be there to play as well but my being at Wsid should not surprise anyone I am always there mine will be the Red R31 with TNT sponsorship on the windshield

  17. I am curerently going about ordering a set of RT615 for the 1/4 mile as a step up from the normal street tyres I have been using on the strip and the price difference between the RT215 and RT615 is only a $10 difference per tyre that is for 205/50 X 15. this is not ment as a hi jack just showing the updated version of the RT series
  18. I would recommmend the RB25DET I have one fitted in my R31 using a turbo of a VG30DETT which I believe is the same size as standard just Ball Bearing running 14psi it makes 183 kw's at the wheels and I have run a best of 13.3 over the 1/4 @103MPH using cheap street tyres(TRX Rims for racing 17's for the street) my car weighs about 1400 kgs. For reliability I have been running that boost level for the last 18 months(54,000kms) since I purchased the car and it has not missed a beat once. I have been to 2 Powercruise events each one consisted of 4 days(ECR). Drag Combat twice (WSID) and about 5 or 6 Street meets (WSID). all that plus I drive the car everyday to and from work which is about 400+ kms a week and I get just over 400kms to a tank of fuel. : ) hope this helps somewhat with your decision
  19. just get a gallon that will be enough for your gearbox I had a little left over from a gallon cost me $104 for it lightweight shockproof from Conventry auto
  20. I asked and his reply was "if they need a diagram they shouldn't do it " his words not mine. I tried on the weekend I showed him the thread but he was to lazy to put anything up sorry fellas
  21. I spoke with myfriend and he advised if you use the wiring diagram as supplied by GUNMETALR33 you should be fine. Having said that I am not responsible for if you get it wrong. I am no electrician thats why I did not do my own setup.
  22. Sorry I have not been able to help any with a solution for you but if you can get your hands on a wiring diagram for a series 1 RB25DET all you need to do is wire in the bosch coils in place of the standard coils. I know that is not of much help but if you want any more detailed photos let me know what you want I will post them up for you. I will also chat with my mate over the weekend and see if he can put it into english for me to understand and then I will put the info up for everyone.
  23. ACCORDING to the latest edition of High Performance Imports GTR Special #5 at the recent Skylines Australia Drag Day.
