  2. anyone?
  3. Hi, mate..can you PM me your number? One of my friend interested on this car..thanks
  4. ..................................quote...................................... Now, read it, and stop talking about TD06's unless you all own a Mitsubishi Canter ..................................quote...................................... Hi, SydneyKid..thanks for the replied (not the ....quote.....part), and be honestly I do learn from it..but Were the fact and theory are brothers? Were they sometime back up each other and sometime don't due to some reason? I don't drive a canter, just what I saw is a bit different then theory..please don't take it as offense (I know you don't...hahaha..thanks.) If there is any chance, we do love to offer you a drive..and maybe you can help us to find out why?..thaks
  5. mate..keep it for drag....LOL
  6. Thanks guys all your input are valuable..thanks once again.. I think it makes sense now that leave the intake unchange to retain NVCS and replace adjustable came gear at exhaust side... thanks..
  7. I will ask buster to answer this questionin in detail.. But I will say what I saw.. Td06-20g 10cm sqr, trust manifold, front pipe,3 " exhaust system, external wastegate, Trust cooler, EVC, chipped R33 ECU.. from what can see at passenger side..spool around 3100...hard at 4000 (up) till red line...lag was there, but not what I expect..power come smoothly.. He sold the car....and the car now is in autostyle sydney..but both of us will have something similar come up soon..will keep you post.
  8. back to topic.. according to the title, I will say TD06-2og will be easy to drive around, and comes with some very good power, and if you can invest some $$ on cam gears / cams then it will be perfect..and this is back up by riding experience of Buster's car. thanks.
  9. can you send me some photos, those on ebay are bit small, thanks. sidewaymambo at hotmail dot com
  10. Is the adapter's dimeter for Z32's AFM (80 mm)?
  11. Dean.. Is the AFM adapter between Turbo intake and AFM? and about 20cm long? thanks..
  12. I assume that was typo? maybe..coz he mentioned some where spool at 3000, come boost at 4000....
  13. at least I don't think decompress the engine = install forgie, so reason for 87, 87.5,88 instead 86.. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...B25_gasket.html another question is most forgie I can find are 87 and 88...and I just can't find 86 http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...B25_piston.html
  14. steve..exacly what I have in mind..hahaha... But I decide let it run as stock compression and see what happen..
  15. Boosted.. very interesting test drive..how do you find the instant throttle response?
  16. to SydneyKid and GTST: I have been thinking this as well...and I believe the best way is install the IN cam gear and compare to the stock cam gear..IF my turbo (T67/TD06-25g) is going lag as hell, I want to see what NVCS can help at low~mid range, and what after market cam gear can do. Does it sound like a good plan? What you recon? My mods at moment are stock engine with stock boost, Trust cooler, Pod filter, 3" Fujitsubo system , PowerFC Parts ready to bolt on: TD06-25g, trust ex-manifold, Front pipe, Nismo 550cc injectors, large fuel pump, fuel regulator, Q45 AFM, ProfecB.. But sure, I will have those mods on get a figure and graph and compare after the cams / gears on..looks like a long way..we will see.. Thanks to all. to steve: if VVT = NVCS, then as first post, that Tomei make them.. at bottom of page..cheers.. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...2_cam_RB25.html
  17. So, what's on the R34 GTT? SydneyKid? thanks
  18. Thanks GTST, I was thinking keep the stock cam gear for the inlet side with the tomei inlet shaft...but hope there is one cam gear can support NVCS and that's will maximise all benifit from this mods..
  19. Hi, GTS-T and SydneyKid..thanks once again.. So Sydneykid..does the R34 GT-T you refered, pickup the cam shaft and cam gears bolt on together and the VVT works straight away without modification? the reason I ask is that the cam shaft I have specfied / stamped as support NVCS, but I could not find the Tomei cam gear support NVCS.. I rang some workshop, and been told need to machine the tomei cam shaft / tomei cam gaer to support factory VVT / NVCS, and this really confuse me.. did I overlook some where...thanks in advance..I will try to take some pics of the cam shaft and post tonight..
  20. could you tell me a bit more why I don't need to keep the stock cam gears? thanks
  21. "quo---a bit more fuel, particularly unburnt, can spool up the turbo a bit quicker-----quo" so, does the turbo spool up faster is possible due to unburnt fuel explode in the manifold which flow faster gas? thanks, once again..
