  2. Which RB25DET head is the best? *Admin delete this if it is not allowed* To whom may be reading this, I have tried going through all avenues to find an answer to this question but it seems there isn't a solid answer to it so I have decided to ask here as I know someone will know. I have heard people talk about the series 2 rb25det head being the best head for a high hp rb25det (high being around the 500 rwhp mark) application; my question is which one of the heads is best suited for this application? Or does it not matter whatsoever? Just asking this now for anyone in the future who is wondering the same thing as I am. As per usual with my posts, I will much much appreciate any help whatsoever with this subject . Regards, -s
  3. Hey Terry, I just found out today actually that there are two variants of the "original colour", was moreso just saying it as a general term. But something has come up and I have to close this thread as I'm unable to buy the wheels now.
  4. As I can't seem to edit my original post. Just as future reference, my budget is $1500 (More or less depending on condition etc.) and I'm in the CBD Sydney region of NSW.
  5. My budget is $1500, more or less depending on condition. I'm located in Sydney NSW. Will edit the ad for future sellers too.
  6. Wanting to buy R34 GTR Wheels Hello! , Just putting the feelers out there for this one. Wanting to buy (a set of 4) R34 GTR Wheels that are in good nick, or considerable condition (Don't want anything that has buckles or cracks please) Must HAVE center caps and MUST BE in original colour (Don't want resprayed or powder coated another colour too), and whether or not they have tyre's is no big deal to me. Anyway, any helping me find a set would be much, much, much appreciated. Thankyou, Seanski96.
  7. @roy8532 I've pmed you back for further discussion mate
  8. As the title states. I am in need of a pair of front seats from either an R32 or an R33 GTR. As usual, good condition and closer to sydney the better. Have cash waiting for the right seats and am willing to travel. Also willing to discuss payment for freight/postage with sellers. Thanks in advance, seanski.
  9. Like the title says, I currently have a set of R32 GTR wheels that need to be refurbished for a friend. But for the life of me I cannot find any hint of what colour they are supposed to be. So if anybody knows please I'm quite desperate and am checking all over google; but I've only found the paint code for R34 GTR wheels so far. Any knowledge about this is very very much appreciated, as my friend and I are completely stumped with this.
  10. @DRF72 All I can say is thankyou very much mate. Had no idea this website even existed but nonetheless I appreciate the help greatly
  11. Hi all, *Admin delete this if its not allowed* First post I've made in a long time, had an old account but forgot the password to it. Anyway, on to the topic. I've been interested in finding a set of Panasport G7/C5C2 wheels for my '00 R34 GT25 coupe (attached picture for reference) but for the life of me I can not seem to find any recently sold items whether it be e-bay or similar websites. Got told to ask here, truth be told I was a bit hesitant to ask here as I wasn't sure of the response I'd get, but I'm genuinely wanting to know who or where I can find someone/supplier/carrier who sells the previously mentioned wheels. Here are some specs which I've come across as to having a flush fit of my car; (doesn't have to be exact, but the closer the better) PCD: 5x114.3 Size: 17 Inches Front: 17x8 approx. (-+) 35 offset Back: 17 x 9 approx. (-+) 32 offset Colour: any (Silver is preferred but I can respray if needed so its not a big deal) Any information is deeply, I mean really deeply appreciated as I've had no luck on finding anyone selling a set. (From what I have found from previous sales it seems to be around the ($1,200 to $2,000 mark)
  12. Cheers man, this and a separate thread mentioned that its fine since the oil becomes thinner at regular temperatures
  13. @Hadouken , Never had a car with an oil gauge, and with only a vague symbol to go by and panicking my car was about to go caput, I thought it was for fuel, now after being told its actually a oil pressure gauge, and the other thread mentioning that 2kg per cm^2 sounds about normal. I'll have to check it out myself in detail tomorrow.
  14. Also mate, do you think that 2kg per cm^2 sounds normal or could it be my sender unit being buggered?
  15. Ohhh, with that, I found another thread that had this same problem. I feel like a fool slightly for that, but again appreciate the help @Ben C34 and @Stagea97. Should be an easy fix now, again cheers for helping out!
  16. @Ben C34, heres a link off an ebay listing for a spare cluster http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE5NVgxNjAw/z/KNAAAOSwstxVfVkh/$_75.JPG,its hard to see but at the bottom of the tach is a smaller gauge, that is from what I can make of it seeing as it reads kg/cm squared, is fuel pressure.
  17. Its part of the gauge cluster, edited the original post with the reference link, it's not an aftermarket gauge anyway.
  18. @Ben C34 I've only had the car for a few months and never took notice of the gauge until today when I noticed the reading seemed lower, for reference here is what my cluster looks like, specifically the tachometer http://s153.photobucket.com/user/demandchainguy/media/cluster1.png.html .So I was just seeing whether anyone else would know seeing as google isn't very helpful for this kind of problem.
  19. Hey all, new to the community here on SAU, Anyway my problem is on my N/A R34 Skyline when idling my fuel pressure gauge, which is not aftermarket and sits within the tachometer (reference http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE5NVgxNjAw/z/KNAAAOSwstxVfVkh/$_75.JPG & http://s153.photobucket.com/user/demandchainguy/media/cluster1.png.html) reads 2kg/cm^2 and it idles a hair under 1,000rpm. Would be grateful to find out what the usual reading for fuel pressure is in an N/A R34? And if so, what can I do to fix it if it is knackered. If anyone could help in anyway, I would greatly appreciate it.
