  1. I have to agree with Simon that that power figure seems extremely high for a pair of 2530's, but that's not the point of this thread. The choice between single or twin is simply based on your preference of how much and what sort of power you'd like to make. If your chasing a street drivable setup then I think twin low-mounts work fine:D
  2. Mikey, You need to keep your stockies, so that we can put R-comp tyres on them for MC;)
  3. Long, it's simply because I have an impecable driving record;)
  4. 28 Max NCB, $30k insured, $700/year, QBE.
  5. My new engine will be using an R34 GTR crank, RB26 pistons and RB26 rods:D
  6. I'd be expecting close to a day, GTR turbo's are quite difficult to remove and install with the engine in.
  7. I think you'd be very lucky to get it done for that price. I'd recommend you have a look at the Forced Induction Performance section first for GT-SS's, as the results from them haven't been as good as expected.
  8. Haha, poor Ant;) Just so everyone knows, Anthony Scali (ND4SPD) and Fabian are both working with Xspeed now, so there able to build very tough engines and have an experienced tuner:D
  9. I've been down to the new premises too, and must say I'm very impressed. A huge range of display stock, plus they will also be selling 2nd-hand parts shortly too:D Good luck with the new shop, and we'll see you at the grand-opening:D
  10. You can get a nice flutter with the stock BOV, but aftermarket BOV can cause more hassle than there worth, and they don't improve performance:p
  11. They are located behind the frontbar on the drivers side. My suggestion is to leave them stock, cause they work perfectly well:D
  12. I know Nik and his car, there both great:cheers:
  13. Hi Nik, I remember putting that sticker on the back of your car at the AutoSalon in Belmont:D Good luck with the sale. Cheers Paul
  14. Well done Brett, good to see you proving that the stock turbo can take a beating:D
  15. Haha, mine made the same power with 14psi than it did with 18psi. Not sure what Brett boosted his to.
  16. I managed to get 299rwhp from mine, and Brett has got 301rwhp from his stock turbo, but I think ours were at higher boost. I think anywhere between 280 and 290rwhp is a fantastic result for stock turbo:D Well done to Lumpy.
  17. The simple answer is no-one, and I believe only Martin Donnon has tuned them in Oz at all. It's a real pity cause by all accounts there a good ECU.
  18. Nice power Scott:cheers:
  19. Well done Anna :grouphug:
  20. Neo, I think only PAS has driving events, CABIN AutoSalon is only Show and Dyno.
  21. Hi Guys/Gals, SAUWA is planning a club entry into AutoSalon again this year, and is looking for entrants to put on a stunning display of Skylines. If you have a car that you think is the right quality for this show then let us know. We're looking at between 7-10 entrants. Cost will be approximately $100, which covers entry and costs for a display. Although this event is still some time away we have learnt from previous experience that being organised is definately worthwhile. We're looking at finalising entrants before the 10th of June, so let us know ASAP. If your car doesnt get selected - please dont be disappointed! It gives you something to work towards for next year! If you have any questions then please feel free to PM or email me. Please register your interest here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=71566 Cheers Paul SAUWA President
  22. Sorry, to clarify it was 60+ passes with that particular input shaft, as Keir told me at the Drag Combat round in Perth on the weekend.
  23. Well done Scott, it's about time;) My best wishes to you and Anna for the future:D
  24. Keir Wilson broke the input main shaft of his PPG on the weekend, but that is after 60+ passes in an 8sec GTR.
  25. I think overall the event was bigger and better, but I agree there is alot to still improve on, including club setups, speed of entry and scrutineering. I get to see things from the organisers point of view, and trust me we're working our asses off, but with better organisation things would have been much better. Please feel free to provide me or TJ some feedback, and then we can pass it on to the organisers to make sure next year is even better. Cheers Paul
