  5. If only this forum section was started when i began my 4.5 year build. Instead check it out here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...on-t140022.html Happy reading Deren
  6. Last weekend i fitted the gearbox and got the rest of the drive train fitted. This weekend i have filled all the fluids, bled the 4wd actuator system and bled the clutch up. So now im really very close to starting it. Pretty much only waiting on a few parts to arrive in order to fire it up. Ive purchased a Metal Matrix Metal Cat Convertor and that should arrive early this week coming. Im looking forward to getting it started and run-in on the dyno at work More updates soon, Deren
  7. Please note this is the larger exhaust. Not the N1 Evolution.
  8. Im selling this new exhaust after changing my mind on what i wanted to use. Its the top of the range Apexi stainless steel cat back. Produced from 3.75in stainless steel piping, it is one piece contruction with exceptional quality. Still in wrapping and box. I removed it for the photos but will repack for freight. Prefer pick-up as its a long item. Im located in Brisbane. $1000 Please PM or CALL ONLY Thanks, Deren 0402 829 091
  9. This forum is getting just as bad as the others. Why comment if your just going to bag him?!? Its pointless and to be honest most of you musnt have anything better to do with your time.. Either answer the question or dont bother saying anything at all. I'd say shift to second and let it wind down. Harsh treatment for it clutching it at such high revs.
  10. Cheers mate, look forward to seeing you down there.
  11. Cheers Juan Today i wasted about half the day trying to source the correct glue to install the windows. After 2 failed attempts i finally tracked it down (Sikaflex glazing adhesive), but by that time i had only about 1.5 hours left to work on it. So i only got the rear quarter windows fitted Oh well i'll get the rest done next time i get a chance. I think i was going to run out of glue anyway so i'll most likely need another tube. I found a second hand Greddy shift knob on the forum last night so that will be a nice addition More through the week, Deren
  12. Cheers guys appreciate it The car is getting closer now but still not complete. Should be doing a run in tune sometime next week hopefully.
  13. Haha, i tottally agree Linton! Its just that its at work at the moment and it goes outside for some of the day while we move cars. The weather lately has been very up and down so i thought it would be best to have the glass back in sooner rather than later. It wont be driven in the rain but a slight shower is just like washing it right? Cheers for the compliments How does your clutch feel Dan? Im hoping its not too hard to live with? Work to be done tomorrow on it at Godzilla. More updates soon, Deren
  14. They were used for a couple of weeks then skimmed and oiled. So they would be very close to the new thickness of 32mm. Please PM me with interest. Cheers, Deren
  15. Hey everyone, On Monday i started working with Mark Jacobsen at Godzilla Motorsport in Wakerley, Brisbane. Its an awesome opportunity to show my ability, as well as getting to work on some very desirable cars! My trial was refitting a T88 onto the very crazy Midnight purple 'RH9' R34 GTR featured in HPI awhile back. Since then Mark has kept me busy with a heap of awesome jobs. Im looking forward to learning lots of tips and tricks from Mark in the future. So if you want a pedantic, meticulous mechanic taking care of your pride and joy, please call in and we'll take care of anything you need. For a look at some of my work please have a look at my restoration thread in my signature. Cheers, Deren

  18. Thanks mate, I doubt it will ever be 'finished' but it should be running next week. I still need to wheel align it before i can drive it, and im pretty sure i'll have to replace one of the alloy stub axles. I've tried evening up both sides hub to hub just with a tape measure and i can't get it right. So something isn't correct. My guess is the stub axle, being alloy. Once i get the allignment specs i'll know what needs attention and i can sort it out. I'll likely show it a few times and from there perhaps a magazine will pick it up.. Deren
