  1. Doesn't have the nice kink you need. I want one of these dolphins
  2. Spotted this on trademe. Vq30det and 6speed manual m35 Conversion http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/nissan/auction-1022112891.htm
  3. Replaced drive and alternator belts ... sway bar bushes are next on the list. Can I just swap for an r34 coupe instead
  4. Pity shipping to nz would probably cost more than the seats
  5. Drill, weld and tap another nut in a better accessible area? Had to do it on mine cause I wanted to keep oem one running.
  6. The design of the silencer acts like a baffle too...
  7. Diesel mufflers are pretty much larger cylinders with a perforated hole pipe that's straight through. Some glass packed or not. Most of the mufflers off the shelf have baffles or loops inside (don't get me started on bullets and cobys). Effectively just makes it like the branded ones without the label price. Cut one open
  8. Supporting local works for me. Not gonna do a crap job. Custom mandrel bends and designs based on an old hks super dragger I used to own on my s14. Will most likely end up doing it in sections as funds become available.
  9. Nice. Lol. Just gonna make one rather than buy one. Price of shipping pretty much covers it eh
  10. I saw a kit made for the vq25det and it had a 90 degree elbow which joined to recirc. I was thinking the flange that tilted may allow for better install .
  11. http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/parts/atp_turbo_greddy_wrx_sti_bov_adapter_flange_atp_fls_078.htm Have you tried the subi one? ?
  12. Haha straight thru... mm intermeresting. Love it. I don't wanna egg you on but wanna do a YouTube clip and give it a few Vrmmmm vrrrms?
  13. http://m.ebay.com/itm/111784107882?_mwBanner=1 http://m.ebay.com/itm/Blow-Off-Valve-Adaptor-For-GREDDY-TYPE-S-RS-BOV-Fit-Nissan-Skyline-R32-R33-R34-/271815184812?nav=SEARCH Do these look like the part you're looking for?
  14. Congrats man! Done fixed. Well almost.
  15. Hey...engine heaters are run off the engines cooling system aka radiator and coolant right... so if you're having heating problems... you either have a blockage or due for a headgasket/radiator/air lock/heater core/thermostat replacement? But I guess if it's that cold... -27 I dunno if it'll ever get hot?
  16. If you don't mind me asking... how the heck did that happen? Should post this in stagea part... bits of this would make a good manual conversion. Would you split it up or prefer whole car offer? Thanks
  17. ^ not taking the piss or anything but was that an error in not reading the instructions or is it something that just wasn't explained well in it? I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the same unit but does this have the two valves? The small one which pulls at light pressure and the big one that pushes at full pressure? It should have that adjustment nut at the top.. As for the turbosmart... Doesn't the screw at the top wind out and you back the nut down to keep it in place? I did that and added a little rubber of ring to stop any minor leakage as a peace of mind..
  18. Lol. Was that measured the way it's supposed to be via the regs? I.e for us it's like .5 m away at a diagonal sitting on a level floor in outdoor environment etc..
  19. I wish. They slide off or aren't tight enough. I could get some of those heavy duty black wide ones .... but hmmmmm
  20. Replaced vacuum lines and now car is running a lower mmhg on idle : ( gonna have to get those tiny hose clamps
  21. Already looked on trademe.. only fabric v35 and g35 (not the coupe) so they aren't really any better. The rails would help drop it but need the butt hugg-iness from semi buckets. If only there was a bridge between oz and nz ?
  22. https://partsouq.com/tesseract//assets/global//NIS201504/source/JP/163_321_1200128.gif Dunno how to paste links but found the Axis 350S parts catalogue. I wonder if any match up to any in the other Nissan family (350z)
