  1. Champion. That's what we like to hear. Quick easy fixes. Lol least yours didn't sound like Chewbacca or a pigeon.
  2. Forget I said anything. I got lost in the post. What's the mmhg your gauge is reading at/ vacuum? Also if you have the stock cluster how close to the bottom line does it sit?
  3. Hey quespionage- that blue vacuum hose. It's not the spongey redline performance stuff that you can pinch and cut off airflow to is it? I'm assuming it's at least 3mm id from the pipe... just asking
  4. Ahhhhh those look like the concave v35coupe wheels that look like the stock rims. Am i correct? What's the width/ offset on them
  5. Has anyone tried swapping the rails over onto stock seats? Assuming the v35/ aftermarket rails are lower? Or is it really the seat profile? I'm after some 350z fabric seats but they are hard to come by at the moment (nz). Thanks
  6. It's double handling but be sure to swap it out. Things are made with those materials for a reason..you don't want a negative reaction to the cooling system..
  7. I think that is the general consensus. Taking steps to ensure you don't have boost or vacuum leaks and checking for restrictìon pill or using proper hose that doesn't "suck in" may help but in the end it's use stock, a good adjustable one or get a tune ?
  8. Eh ...if youre gonna custom setup you're gonna have a custom ecu so vta doesn't matter
  9. Umm.. they aren't both copies right..
  10. Somwthing a lightweight flywheel may fix? Sound may be from the bearing from engaging the clutch. Is it like a squeaking or almost shearing sound?
  11. ? depends on your oil grade and your spark plugs and tuned setup. But hey no one really thinks of that lols
  12. Would I be in luck if I asked whether you have a link and price to this radiator? Thanks
  13. It is hard to find genuine these days especially for those brands unless you can get it from an authorised distrubutor/ retailer.
  14. Lol thasks for the heads up. The nismo one I was keeping an eye on disappeared. So sad lol. Guess I will have to spend it on suspension mods
  15. Canbus isn't the easiest... so I'll just buy another car to do up..
  16. Big thumbs up from me. Would love to drive a manual again and be it a turbo stag hah
  17. Hypothetically.. What's stopping a bare shell nm35 to have any engine dropped in and wired up.... Now think bare shell again but putting a vq25det in there... to run everything squarely off an aftermarket ecu would be hard if we didn't know parameters/ sensors and data... but we have that now... so if we go back to the basics and say fuel and air adjustments first, then throttle by wire then electrical input, then sensors and cam timing, would that be the harder route to take just to run that engine on its own without a factory ecu in place?
  18. Impul ecu. Not sure if it's for n/a as my Japanese / Google translate sucks.. http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?auccat=26318&ei=utf-8&tab_ex=commerce&p=m35+impul&type=all
  19. Get a block off bung for the intake to remove the plastic part that acts as a resonator box.
  20. Yes the size of the vacuum line helps. Smaller id and it will add to the cause of the shudder. The reason why they went away from the dual vent system or push pull was because of the leak in the diaphragm which end up leaning your engine to the point of detonation and stalling. Especially in the cheap copies that popped up.
  21. I hate weird noises.. once it was tar on a tire that did my head in. Next on the list is stone in tread. Or warped /unskimmed rotors. Fully frustrating at times.
