  1. Thanks mate, will follow these up tomorrow. Much appreciated.
  2. Hi guys, This forum has been great for a newbie like myself getting into Skylines and beginning to get hands on, however I'm out of my depth on this one. Can someone please take a look at the video below and help me diagnose the noise? Car has had a slight oil leak on the rocker gasket cover, due to be replaced this weekend. Timing belt was done less than 4 months ago. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated.
  3. Looks brilliant, exactly how I'm aiming for my GTT to sit! Clean and tidy, love the all black! (For some reason wouldn't let me quote photo) Now If i can only find a damn lip that won't cost an arm and a leg!
  4. Hey Artic, Don't suppose you'd ship these, specifically to Tas? Id assume not (and don't blame you!) but I'll never know unless I ask. Are they +22 all round? Good luck with the sale.
  5. Seems to always rain only shortly after a wash! Sorry to take this off topic, but been reading your website. Excellent read, especially for a guy who's learning like myself!
  6. How old is the Z32 AFM, & how much for just the Z32 AFM and plug?
  7. Good work Jordy. I have a Blitz return flow on mine and was just curious how others fit. Good stuff. What's next?
  8. ^ Wouldn't mind knowing this also, and was it the same method for the pods at the rear? FMIC looks great! Did you find you had a lot of FMIC hanging below the bar touching on the splash/under tray or was the fit ok? Also, did you require much of the bar to be 'shaved' to accommodate for the cooler?
  9. You sound like you're in a similar position to me with where your car is at, although I'm still learning much of this as I go. I've got a 34GTT also that came straight from Japan with a HKS Hi Power exhaust (fairly certain it's turbo back), ARC cold air induction box, HKS EBC (running stock boost) and some BC coilovers. Basically "stage 1", although I do have a Nistune chip that also came in the cars ECU. I bought a return flow blitz cooler and chucked it on with the car as listed above. Yet to have it tuned (am debating other mods, will do soon) but the car runs fine, noticed no negative results. Stock boost is slightly higher due to the increased air flow but nothing to worry about, although I did notice it. Where do you live? Guys here might be able to suggest some tuning places. I'm aiming for a moderate amount of power, 250kw or so. Will upgrade the turbo to a Hypergear turbo in the future, but nothing extreme for me. As far as I'm aware, Injectors, turbo, AFM, fuel pump and a tune for me should do this.
  10. Subbed, looks good! Overall, how difficult did you find putting on the lips/skirts/pods? How long did it take you? This is the look I'm going for with my car and it looks great. Improves the car without going overboard in my opinion! Don't see too many red GTT'S either!
  11. Glad you let me know as I'm about to buy one in the next week or so! Did you paint it? If so, how did you do it & what colour? Any photos? Pleased it fit properly, was worried about potential fitment!
  12. Appreciate the quick response. Thanks mate.
  13. Was wondering if these wheels that have been advertised to me as bbs wheels are legitimate BBS? Appreciate the help! Apologies for the single photo, all I have been provided.
  14. Hey Artic, what front bar/kit is that? Lip looks great on it! Wheels look great also, glad to see a reference as i'll be running a similar 18x 9 or 8.5 + 30 all round when i finally get mine.
  15. Just a matter of finding one now! So difficult to find. Was hoping i'd be able to modify an OEM GTR one or the Viva Garage lip that fits the Nismo bar. So far, unsure!
  16. Yeah currently using a rhino lip, love it for what it is! However really looking for something a bit more. Love the way yours sits!
  17. Need your opinions guys! Have researched this topics and this is what has led me to this. Am looking for a front lip for my R34 GTT Skyline with the stock bar. I believe you can get the V Spec style lip for GTT's from East Bear? However it's discontinued on Nengun. Is there anywhere else I can get this? Other options are below as follow: Will the front lip from the Nismo bar (from vivagarage) fit the stock bar? Even with some modifying, or are the bars to fit onto simply to different? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R34-Spec-E-Fiberglass-Front-lip-for-Factory-Aero-Bar-ONLY-/281853902166?hash=item419fcd3d56:g:dEoAAOSwhcJWQs7F Other option is the Uras/D1 style front lip, also from vivagarage: https://www.vivagarage.com.au/vivastore/index.php/bodystyling/nissan-1/skyline-r34-gt-gtt/front-lip/nissan-skyline-r34-gt-gtt-type-d1-front-lip.html Anybody have any issues/opinions on the above lip, specifically regarding fitment/install? I believe several forum members have fitted these style lips, however all the threads I spotted them in were several years old and I didn't want to go thread reviving. Would obviously prefer something more like the V Spec lip, however am welcome to any advice! Thanks.
  18. Ah this solves my issue as well, having the same drama and was curious. Just to save a new thread, what are the front headlights. I have halogens, a H1 bulb is all that's required, yeah?
  19. Me being a new guy to this forum (learning as I go, a few parts behind you). Your parts list looks fine. Use the turbo upgrade thread to compare parts/power outputs etc. Basic mods lists have been asked a thousand times on this forum, so just make sure you do your research although i do understand myself being a new guy it's good to have confirmation from others. Injectors may be the only thing i'd take more of a look at depending on the PSI pressure you'll run. Additionally you'll want to know the spec of the fuel pump so you're aware of what it can/can't handle. Also maybe replace the manual boost tee with an EBC for higher boost? Others may be able to clarify a bit more on that one. As for the turbo Q, can't help as I have an R34 and so far that's as far as my knowledge goes! Best of luck.
  20. That looks sweet! Just stumbled upon this, mind me asking what those front/rear lips are and where did you get them from? Much hassle involved in the fitment?
  21. Haha, I am due (i.e I want new ones) wheels and with that, tyres soon (upgrading to 18" set up) so that's definitely on my list! Also keen to look into a driving day at the local track to learn my about myself as a driver etc. Suspension i think i'm covering with BC Racing coilovers (fits the budget) and lastly is that little bit of power i'm after! Other little bits will be the front lip (similar to your profile photo) and ideally smoked out or clear front bar indicator lights (amber orange doesn't really suit the midnight purple/black look of the car). Just want tasteful modifcations, but still with some power underneath. It's a slow process but surely! If I had that sort of coin i'd be driving an R34 GTR! Haha. Thanks for the advice. Definitely need to look at how the car handles. Appreciate it.
  22. Thanks for the quick, informative replies! I was told that an AFM and fuel pump would be useful, however reading this forum I gathered that they weren't a necessity. Just wanted clarification for my specific set up, thanks. When you say 'stick to the 255' do you mean the stock pump, or something like this? http://justjap.com/engine/fuel-system/fuel-pumps/walbro-500hp-fuel-pump-gss342.html Sorry, am a bit unfamiliar. & by highflow turbo, is Hypergear recommended? Have seen a few sigs with them on this forum, so will assume yes? (http://www.hypergearturbos.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=74&product_id=69) EDIT: Found their latest thread, will do my research! Thanks! Thanks for that. I've always been keen on the return flow intercoolers, and i've budgeted for one and may upgrade in the future, so i'll bite that bullet now & go that anyhow. Agree with you on the reputable companies, just wanted to double check. I'll stick with JJ, better to pay that bit extra for peace of mind! Any thoughts on specific boost to run? EBC allows me to have two preset modes. Was thinking 8 PSI for daily, with the option of 10/11PSI for when i wanted that 'bit of extra'. Have read through the forums and can see R34's are generally ok til around 12PSI, however was weary of their longevity at this must boost. This question has been asked to death, I know. Just wanted thoughts. Cheers for the help.
