The only performance work i intend on doing to the car, is a tune with the stock turbo.

Is 320kw for a unopened Rb25 Neo to much ? Hey All, So looking at possibly buying a R34 with some work done to it, there is one i have found that has had a fair bit of work done to it. it is pushing 320kw at the wheels. is 320kw for a unopened neo to much ? it would be my daily drive, it wouldn't see any track days or anything as i don't live close enough to any.

i enjoy working on my car a lot as well, just trying to decide if that enjoyment is worth a few thousand dollars or not. -

Did have a look at yours, but not in the price range I'm looking for. does look nice tho and by far the best car add ive ever seen. buying a car with work done to it seems to be the way to go. Would love to have more power in mine but at the cost of around 6k doesn't really make much sense for when i can buy something with more power and save thousands of dollars. now the fun part finding a skyline with decent power, that hasn't being trashed to badly lol -
Yeah it is the rubber lining that i was trying to find. but from the sounds of it, it isn't that important so yeah wont worry about it lol.

Build from stock or buy a car with some work done to it. Hey everyone, just wondering what everyone's thoughts on the following topic is. Long story short i've got a r34 gtt which i want to put more power into it. but was curious so i looked on car sales and found another nice r34 with more or less the build i was going to go. I'm stuck on the choice of do i spend 5k-6k into the skyline i currently have to get some more power into it. OR buy the one with the work done to it. (comes with the style rims i want to buy for mine as well which is a bonus.) Id be able to sell my r34 pretty close to the price of the one i was looking at so at the most there might only be a $2000 difference. is spending the extra money (Around 5k extra) worth it just to say i brought all the stuff myself and installed it myself. for example a turbo, inter cooler and injectors.

Car Misfiring after a big rainfall.

Most likely this, the filter that came on the car was a mushroom pod filter one and noticed the other day that it was in a real bad shape. got a new filter on its way. -

Nah no bonnet vents, my drive way points down tho so the car parks at a slight angle. so water might drip down that way. i have a sunroof, i will def check that out. -

My power goal is 250-260kw. on justjap there is cooling pro inter-coolers, they are very budget from the price i am guessing. I've read mixed reviews about them some people saying they are running fine on high power, others saying the pipes don't line up the best. I've being looking at a blitz return flow, but also read mixed reviews them being return flow. what makes HDi or Blitz better then the cooling pro intercooler ??
-
Yeah i have decided to go with a high flowed turbo. now to just get everything else ordered and sorted out then more power
-
Help choosing a new turbo. Hey Everyone, So as the title says i need some advice on what turbo i should go for my build. the power goal i have in mind is 250-260rwkw. The car is my daily so i am looking for responsive power and as little lag as possible. The choices i have narrowed it down to so far. High flowed turbo R33 or R34 from what i have seen the high flow r33 turbo will get the power levels i want but seems to spool up 500rpm before the r34 turbo. is the ball bearing char worth getting ? what is the advantage of it ? Hypergear ATR43SAT , same as high flow is it worth getting a ball bearing char ? Is there other choices out there for what i want ?? i have looked at a gt3071r but they are on a bit of the expansive side.
