  1. ey man, was good cruising home with ya too - no police problems getting home? Big props for coming up in the middle of the night too - great effort!
  2. WOOPS i mean my right foot (left-right-left-right...) is sore from all the throttle control..kinda weird And nah i dont think it was overheating, he was just slowing down so that he could punch it for a couple of turns before he caught up to the cars in front. Got pretty damn irritating after awhile of repeatedly going 2nd - 3rd - 4th, 3rd - 2nd...3rd - 4th....well, you get the picture
  3. Hey Ferah, I don't know what happened but my deepest condolences to you and the family. I lost two mates in two weeks last month and its a not the greatest but its good to know of all the support you have out there, and after the GOR cruise i've realised how great everyone here is and how much everyone looks after each other You got all of SAU-Vic here for you
  4. yeh man, pretty sore. funny thing is my left foot foot joint is sore from throttle control. Whomever that was in the white R34 GTT in front of me on the GOR going to Apollo Bay - DUDE, wth were you doing booting it then slowing right down to 20km/h??? There were about 8 cars behind me and that got quite tiring after while man! The soreness was well worth it tho. Lucky we took the inland route on the way home, if we hadda taken the GOR on the way back i'd probably be in a wheelchair now lol
  5. oh man...my back is killling mee!! lol...Bride seat + Coilovers + bumpy ass roads = so so soore BIG - UPS to AL - mate you are a true gentlemen and a champion - Monique and i thank you for your efforts in organizing a fantastic weekend. 6. i'm gonna say what everyone else is thinking... I hate you so much right now.
  7. so going from stock, what diameter would be best suited as an upgrade for an R32GTST? currently have coilvoers, adjustable upper arms and am getting castor rods in this week - hoping to install the castor rods and sway bars at the same time but i don't know much about suspension. What type and diamter are you guys running on your R32 gtst's? And what diameter are the stock ones? cheers
  8. hey mate, i am very, very keen on these. are these still available? If so, i'll take them for $500 + postage to Melbourne 3003 PM me or reply via this thread asap to let me know. Was in the middle of ordering this kit online when i stumbled across this ad so perfect timing lol thanks mate, let me know asap. Cheers
  9. ok thanks mate i'll post it up tmrw. cheers!
  10. I'm thinking that shorter cooler piping would improve the response of the car? Can anyone confirm/clarify this? This is the next step that i'm looking at doing - upgrading the intercooler and getting a forwards facing plenum as my goal now is to increase my response as est as possible for the setup. So, for all those with a forward - facing plenum - did you guys notice better throttle response with the shorted cooler piping? cheers phantom
  11. so has the problem been fixed now that you've got a decent fuel pump in there? if the car is hesitating, or not responding immediately like it should be, then it sounds like its getting either not enough air or fuel. having said that, also check what booct level the bleed valve is running at - when we did my install one of the boys was playing with the bleed valve and the car was running some insane amount of boost which caused it to hesitate big time under heavy load. i ran my conversion with the stock RB25 ECU for months it was fine apart from a flat spot at aounr 5,7 - 63 which i could not get rid of. Installing a Power FC was the single best mod that i couold have done for the setup. not only does it diagnose and show you exactly what isnt working well on the engine, it also allows you to get the car to around 200rkw with your basic stage1 mods and for an RB25/R32, this is extremely noticeable and will keep you grinning for quite some time! keep us updated on how you go, i will be following this thread closely as i would love to see how each and every mod you do helps so i can compare it to how i went about doing my own car. my car is currently sitting on 260rkw with a high-flow rb25 turbo and i could not be happier - instant response with the handling to boot. not much beats it on the street, have yet to take it to the track but i have no doubt the response will make it plenty of fun to drive out of the corners cheers mate and keep us posted on how it all goes!
  12. would love the plenum dude but can't really afford it at that price. If you get desperate and are willing to come down a but more (circa 600 ish) then i'd be more than willing to take it off your hands. I know its worth more i ain't low ballin just can't afford that much right now cheers mate!
  13. i've got the same setup in my car, and have been thru pretty much every problem you could imagine building my car to how it is today (RB25/R32 ~ 260rkws no lag) so i prob have come across your problem before, howeveridont quite understand what your problem is. From what i understand- if you put your foot all the way down the car seems to .... hesitate....and takes some time to build up power? but if you gradually put your foot down then the car responds better? Is that right, or have i read your post incorrectly? If would help alot more if you could list what other mods you have in your car? Did you do the gearbox also? ECU? If the car is pretty much stock apart from the engine, then i'm thinking it could be the fuel pump. Rb25 requires a lot more petrol pump power than the 20 so the first thing i would do is get a better fuel pump like a bosch or a walboro unit. I already had an upgraded one in my car when i did the conversion so it was up to the task easy. Pretty much what you've done is the best modification you can do to an R32 IMO. Much better low-down torque, instant respons, and just generally better power throughout the entire rev range. No more shifting to 2nd to get out of 90deg. corners, 3rd is more than enough to suffice. So you should be feeling the difference immediately and noticing a massive improvement in drive as opposed to what you're experiencing right now. But yeah, if you could explain the problem a little better then others might be able to pinpoint the solution a little better. hope this helps in some way/form mate.
  14. sorry dude haven't had a chance to do anything SAU related as was a little intoxicated last night lol I'll come grab it tmrw - will contact you in the afternoon. Cheers!
  15. hey guys, This is the VIN number i got off the rego sticker for my car: VIN: 6T91MPV97P2WYW001 SN: 0407508 Is that sufficient information for you guys to do a check or do i need the number from the plate inside the car? cheers
  16. I'm down. If everyone agrees lets get it rolling. (Posted to melb 3103 btw)
  17. all type-m's are 4 pots
  18. hi mate, Could you please PM me information and prices for the following: a. 2 x 225/40/18's for fronts (good, grippy street tyres) b. Full set 235/40/18 Semi's (street legal ones) Car is daily driven so need to be good in the wet too. Occasional track days here and there. Have had Advan RS2's and Michelin Sport 2's before and found them both awesome tyres - the RS2's were my favorite, so something similar would be good. All posted to Melbourne 3103. Thanks mate and keep up the good work have heard good reviews about your business!
  19. *edited repost*
  20. hey mate with my limited brake knowledge all i know is that the R32 GTS-t Type M calipers are 4 - pots, where all the other ones are not. and The type Ms are the late model R32's - so 89, 90, maybe even 91 modles are only 2 pots. I am not 100% on this - the only thing i am 100% on is that only Type M's are 4 pot calipers. hope this helps you in some way cheers
  21. how much for the core? PM me. cheers

  25. reckon these will fit an R32 GTST with 15mm flared guards on the front and stock rear guards? i know the answer is most likely a no but if they do...hmm...i likey, i likey alot..
