chroming engine parts what are the cons !!! will chrome fade , is it hard to take care, and in extreme heat condition, what will they effect the performance ??? i am planning to either gold plate or chrome some engine parts thanks

so i've decided to start with the GTR again, after entering the Honda world for about 2 years, coming back seems a whole lot different i need a budget rb26 forged motor build. not looking for baller specs, just something i can drive hard and track on the weekend what internals should i run???? how are eagle rods ? CP, JE, Wiseco piston ? the motor needs to be able to support greddy T78 turbo kit thank you

Xmas 2008 update !!! after spending another $2500......i got another RB30 rebuild kit. from spool imports from australia. very good guy to work with !! and he's very helpful. here are the detail pic of the cf items i got..i must say....using carbon kevlar (yellow) is very hard to do cuz u can see the blemish very easy....like un even weaves A picture tells a thousand words

ok guys...i am too rich and can't keep my mouth shut.... the first one is a joke but the 2nd one is true...i really can't keep my mouth shut cuz i just got it back from the maker who did carbon kevlar overlay on the oem parts !!! it just too nice...i'll post more pic of it when i have it installed !!! for now..enjoy !!

hey me 2 !! what's wrong with your RB30 this time ? i blew the oil pump and bend the rods

here's news oil pump blew up on the dyno @ idunno what rpm but the highest we had was 7000rpm but the end result was bend rods, need new bearings..etc.. rebuild again...

Dude ....!! chromed bling blings on R32 ?? R32 is a sports car ...and bling bling belongs on SUV.... they both do not go together..at least here in Canada.. but anyways there's a Huge thread on www.gtr.co.uk regarding 19" on R32..u should check it out..lots of infos !

there are no need to bitch about the look about this car, i personaly think it looks really nice ...very track look but that car is NO MORe.....the guys from hong Kong Made that car into a full CF R34 JGTC conversion...i am sure some of you have seen it !!! ugh i don't care about my strut brace..i just don't want my Hood to be open like that .... it's 1) ugly, 2) ppl can do stuff to ur motor when parked 3) sh*t flies in...etc

good glad i am not the only one...but hey..may be OEM hood fits better...and don't have to cut out a hole....??

well today didnt actually drive the car much....paulo @ keep were trying to map the power FC for RB30...with 0piston's FC-Dataloggger, had some computer problems at the end so we decided to stop there and fix the computer... while Gerard @ keep were doing the hood...cutting out the CF so the hood would fit. here are the pictures spent the whole day doing this...but still didn't fit so we gave up and cut the whole thing out instead

I have the same problem with t78 greedy turbo kit as the turbo is so high that it sticks really far out the hood also same thing as the valve cover it sucks and it is so ugly

dude it's not funny....i think it fits better with oem gtr R32 hood....i have a D-max CF hood ..sorta like Nismo Z-tune style.... the front part of my valve cover is outa the hood as well as the turbo is outa my hood....sucks!

I have a new gates timing belt for rb30 and it doesnt fit!! Yyy My set up is rb30/26 what timing belt do I need ?? Rb30 belt different Help me thx

my hood is a Dmax GTS-T hood made only for HCR 32 i had to use hood pins and cut everything outa the inside of the hood to fit the rb30/t78 turbo....it was alot of cutting way too much..........but now is really light.......and looks like a Z-tune hood
