  1. just got it done through a mate at cox automotive, he charges what a normal mechanic charges $66/hr. + parts. takes 4-5hrs i think. depends on
  2. jamboree is on this weekend if the rain holds out, should be a good weekend. got new clutch in today, damn its different then old one, its gonna take some getting used to lol
  3. if u got caught back in the day on your L's driving alone it was like $30 lol thats a crack up to think where it has gone to now., does that mean this forum is going to die of younger crew, bcoz they cant buy turbo charged skyline's any more?? no young noobs to pick on any more either, what is the world coming to they ruin the forums now aswell. ha ha
  4. the guy who lives next to me has a GTR badged gtst, but its maroon, was like that when he bought it has full kit on it etc, but he hasnt changed a thing on it. argh well, hes got no licence now anyway so it just sits there till he sells it.
  5. thanks . i work there that is why u saw my car.
  6. wank factor. get some n.z plates bro, way cooler
  7. yeah man will come say hello for sure, going down with mates form brisbane.
  8. it counts its a mod of some type. they didnt have to be performance ones lol
  9. sooon, i hope lol i just got new clutch to get put in this week, so il get that installed soon, then il have to wait till after jambo, need money for that weekend before i start saving for future mods.
  10. yea, best not to spend money on a car if u planning on selling to trade up anyway. its just a waste really.
  11. ive got flu aswell, but i felt it coming on thursday arvo and went home from work after lunch, then just hooked into some cold and flu tablets then went to bed, felt so much better friday and today am staying the same as yesterday. but its more gone away from fever type stuff now into annoying head cold status.
  12. any u guys done any mods lately to your cars?
  13. i just got back from a run up the mountians, up through eudlo, to maleny then back to montville, and down through dulong back through nambour along nambour/bli bli rd, then into maroochydore again. was a good drive. except we got pulled up by a cop but he just did an rbt and checked our tyres and sent us on our way with a warning to be careful, he was cool though. we were just running in a mates engine so he didnt really care.
  14. just go to a few panel shops in noosa area, they should sort you out with a quote atleast also why u are there have alook at other cars they have just painted and see how there colour matching is. that will be your best indicator of how good your job will turn out. shouldnt cost alot really.
  15. argh yeah, i saw you.. didnt realise it was you though bcoz of the car i guess. i didnt know u sold it lol anyway good stuff.
  16. hey chris did u sell your 33 now aye?? what colour is your 34?
  17. how did ya cruise end up going?
  18. hapney B-day to you! even if i am late hope ya had a good one mate.
  19. yeah it was a good day even though i got there late, but still was a few nice cars there. alot of us form up the sunny coast are heading up to noosa today to go watch the hillclimbs, and road circuits. should be fun.
  20. well my exhuast is a kakimoto one with rear muffler and it is under the legal limit, but cannon style ones are hard to get under i guess. i just say we sit and wait it is f**ked though , we are citizens just like every1 else, and pay our taxes, why should we get arse rapped for crap when we are only enjoying our interests in cars, like some ppl spend there money on model planes, and get to enjoy a hassle free environment with those, i mean if u are doing silly stuff by all means , get busted, but for just having a car with some modifications that are aftermarket, that is a bit rediculous, most of them arent any harm to any1. like a bigger turbo etc and aftermarket ecu, they dont harm any1, sure they can increase hp but that is half the fun of owning and modifying cars. not all of us can afford to enter events like targa etc or stuff like that, so that we can enjoy our modified cars in a controlled environment. we should still be able to modify our cars for road use within the limits i say.
  21. some one should give dept of transport a call and see if the basic mods such as fmic, larger exhuasts (within legal DB limits) bigger turbo's, aftermarket ecu and boost controllers, etc are actual defects they can send you to court for, i mean most of us have them or are going to put them on at one stage or another, so we should start making a list on here i say so we can check what is within the laws under this new legislation.
  22. yeah thinking about going up, the stages are all over the place thougb but they start everyday at noosa gyndier drive, then go to the other ones afterwards
  23. try online traders and get one's shipped up by courier to noosa, that ya best bet, wont cost to much. http://www.dmdtheimage.com
  24. i didnt go with a split pipe on mine when i got my exhuast done, bcoz i think that the welding will crack alot quicker on the split dump pipes compared to the normal style ones bcoz of the heat, also the welds are most likely to be the weakest spots for it to crack. so less welds = less chance of cracking it, i reckon anyway.
  25. yes it was the first time i used it, i think it made some difference aye, but bcoz it was so cold either my coil packs were breaking down or my car hadnt adjusted to the colder air/fuel yet, bcoz it was breaking down up top end, but that was nothing to do with the fuel.
