  6. i have my wheels there now. they are costing me 100 a wheel but he has to fix some gutter rash and paint the centre caps aswell. he will be stripping all the paint off the wheels for me before he paints them.
  7. in r32 they can be relocated to the centre glove box. i assume if the cable are long enough or you extended them you coud move it anywhere in the car.
  8. black 32 gtr with r34 rims(soon to have the stockers back on for a week or 2) im up for a meet up.
  9. yes you can these are the type of bar you should look at http://www.myopure.com.au/MetBAR.html or you could have meal replacement drink(MRP) http://www.myopure.com.au/Recipes.html just remeber to have 5-6 meals a day you should eat every 2.5-4hrs apart. breakfest - lunch - afternoon snack - dinner - evening snack the only thing you would miss out is the mornig snack meal which you could have a MRP bar or drink
  10. im from revesby not far from bankstown always around the area. never had any probs
  11. welcome to sau. nice car.
  12. you should aim to have 5-6 meals a day. this ensures your metabolism doesnt slow down. by eating this many times in a day your body doesnt go into a storage mode eg fat deposits. fruit is good however you must remember they do have surger in them. By having just fruit you are still creating a insulin spike in the body. a good meal will have both protein, carbs, and good fats. eat things such as lean meat, chicken, the sphincter of the universe, fish, eggs, any fruit and veggies(not potatoe if you wnat to lose bodyfat) olive oil, flaxseed oil, fish oil caps, natural yoghart, walnuts/almonds, oats weatbix, skim milk. Remember to lose fat you must eat, and you must eat properly. its good to go to the gym, get a trainer to show you all the equipment and get them to give you a full body weight program do this 2-3 times a week. and also do 20-30mins of cardio after weights when you do weights. cardio can be done everyday if you want but have at least 1 day break in between weights. dinner meal can depend on when you go to the gym/train. if you do go before you have dinner you should have a piece of meat a good size salad or veggies a peace of fruit and some form of complex carbs like brown bread or a large potato. if you havent been to the gym just cut out the extra complex carbs eg no bread or potato. ahh no. eating nothing is not a good idea as it is easier for the body to break down muscle then it is body fat so you are more likely to weigh less but you will still have a higher body fat % and you will be a lot more giggly. isnt the point of losing weight to have a healthier lifestyle???
  13. i have been offered a set of porsche brakes off a boxter s i think. there supposed to be the same as carrera brakes. i have also been told that they are a direct replacement for an evo 8. are they able to fitted to my gtr or dont bother with them.
  14. What you need to do is 1. In the car on the drivers side take off the kick panel (right foot side when sitting in the car) with this off you should be able to see the firewall and in the corner a large rubber grommet. 2. Jack the car up, front driver’s side wheel, take the wheel off. once the wheel is off you need to remove the plastic cover in the wheel arch. don’t take it all off as there are like 500 screws just what is nessacery to pull part of it down. ps. you might want to put some car stands to hold the car up instead of leaving the car on the jack 3. standing at the side of the car where you took the wheel off take the power cable and push it through the guard there should be an opening near brake booster side of the guard (back end of the guard behind the strut tower) just feel around under the guard to find the opening. once you have found the opening, push it through the cable should know be in the wheel arc where you pulled the wheel cover down. put your hand up there and find the cable and then push the cable trough the grommet you should be able to feel it at the back of the guard 4. the cable should now be inside the car.
  15. my pref for say a moderate budget is a decent head unit with at least 2 pre outs that are 4-6 volts fronts should be splits of the higher end by most manufactors which you like the sound of eg pioneer tsc-160r or jl audio XR650-CSi rears any 6 1/2" 2-3 way speaker that is reasonable as they are only for fill sub i would recommened a jlw3v2 10 or 12 depends on the music you listen to. amp i would go for a jl e4300
  16. which side of the car do the rca run down. i ground my amps in that spot sometime and have had no problems. there is a good grounding point under the rear seat. i also have an ariel you can get to replace the window ones as the have a booster standard i dont think this will fix it. it sort of looks like an apexi turbo timer. ill post up some pics if your intrested
  17. the best thing you can do is go and listen to them in a car audio shop and pick which you like. then buy them off ebay. as for alternitives have a look at what jaycar has to offer they might have something your looking for. im not a fan of 6x9 when it comes to clear sound and if your going to run a sub. i would stick with the jl sub you have and getting a new box made for it should not cost more the $150.
  18. sefton smash paints summernats grandchamps did some work on my xr and is flawless. 9644 7559 ask for drago
  19. the only place i can think of at the moment is to mount it behind the front bar on the right hand side when looking the car where the intercooler piping is but that can cause problems if you want to turn it off with the key. mine is near the battery
  20. at this stage put down as a radio whore/flag marshall
  21. sorry to hear. as for the dash if the damage is not to bad you can get it plastic welded, legend auto trim use a guy that comes out to you and colour codes/paint it i cant find his number but i have legends number which is 9709 4954. if the damage to the dash is real bad you will need to get it reskinned talk to restor-a-dash there in revesby 9773 4163 and do a good job. as for the H/U brackets go to a wrecker they would be very cheap.
