  1. Thanks mate. I got it online. I will have to check if I have an input slot at the back of the head unit. Coz the input in the centre console is Japanese / American infiniti version 8/16 pin (not really sure which one). How have you connected your device? Did you connect it from the back of the head unit or straight from the center console?
  2. Hey Pete_Repeat, What device do you have? Would really appreciate if you could provide details of the device, I could possibly try finding it here in Perth. Thanks in advance.
  3. Let us know how you go, I'm having the same issues with hard shifts.
  4. I have the type sp and I use it for my everyday car. I drive around 75kms a day. It's been great on fuel (98ron). Full tank gives me about 700kms which I personally think is better than a mazda suv I also own and it gives me 450kms on a full tank. Great car with the bose speakers and stuff. But you'll have to get used to the Japanese console and no gps - that's the only downside I can think about.
  5. Shannon has been really good but not really cost effective, for the Coupe I'm paying around $1300 p.a. but their service is outstanding. At least in my experience.
  6. Hi guys, sorry for bugging in, but how does the Android based system work? Is it easy to fix it up? Would really appreciate if you could shed some more light on it. Thanks in advance.
  7. Hello fellow SAU enthusiasts and members. Some how thanks to all the threads I've been able to pair Bluetooth with my phone. But while listening to music on my Nexus 6p,the Bluetooth keeps dropping. However, while on phone, it never drops out. Is anyone facing this issue? How do I get connection consistent?
  8. Hi The Max, I've attached the pic. Just to go a step further, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Bluetooth is still greyed out. Would really appreciate if you could share how to fix this.
  9. 2008 skyline 370gt v36. Still haven't been able to figure out why it's greyed out and how to reverse it back.
  10. Hi fellow Skyliner's, I have received my imported skyline, however, the bluetooth is greyed out. I have managed (thanks to this thread) to pair it to my Nexus 6p but it just does not connect, just gives me a message "Attempting to connect". MY-CAR does appear in my paired devices on my phone but does not establish a connection. Is it because bluetooth is greyed out? How can I make it an accessible option (un-grey it Lol). I know it is an old thread, but all your help will be really appreciated.
  11. Thank you for your response. Will definitely drive it a bit hard in the start. Talking about map conversion, I've tried numerous places and approached a lot of people and apparently there's nobody who does that in WA! Would really appreciate if someone can direct me to a place that does it in WA.
  12. Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a 2008 nissan skyline 370gt v36. It's an import with navigation system and stuff in Japanese. That's fine, but since I have never owned an import car before, I would like to know if spares are readily available in WA? Or in the eastern states? Anyone does language conversion in WA? I've read about xanavi but is it worth it? I'm getting an inspection report done as well. Anything I should keep in mind when I go have a second look and drive? Your advice and help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
