  1. Yes ordered one from nissan but two weeks lead time for other people here to ensure they won’t go through my shit when you undo the bolt it is very tight and needs around 150nm to undo!!! me not having torque figure tried to tighten it to a reasoble torque and it started to spin which gave me a heart attack as thread was stripped so got loctile thread repair and put it in, touch wood it is not leaking yet for those doing it, don’t put too much torque on it probably 30-40nm despite the massive m12 size i was also told by mechanic that because i had used normal bolt that is likely why it was spinning as original bolt is tapred and tightens as it screws in
  2. I realised it was the iac valve so that is connected as it should be i worked out what that was so all connected now what i wanted to know was whether i could block pcv and what is the difference between rocker cover and pcv one:)
  3. Mine is modified and have a three port baffle two in and one out connected the rocker together and one from there to in and one from out to turbo induction pipe one is left black with no cap end so sucking air in, is that ok? i don’t know the difference between the port on rocker and pcv what are their differences? could i connect the pcv to the other in which is currently left to suck air in?
  4. NO local shop. bought one on ebay and cut it for anyone in same situation it is an m12 with 14mm head and pitch is 1.25 looked through the hole with camera and even if you insert a bigger / longer bolt, it won’t block anything
  5. Had a spare bonjo bolt for water line and it fits it is 1.5 m10 with 14mm head size the one on the block was around 10-15mm long so i have just ordered one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apico-Green-Magnetic-Sump-Drain-Bolt-M10x15mmx1-5-For-Kawasaki-KX-65-250-KXF/163275917676?hash=item260400c96c:g:yxsAAOSwl95bw5UZ what happens if it is slighty longer? Does anyone know if this will block anything? i need this sorted urgently really on original one there was no washer or nothing and all plain so only a bolt so i suppose any bolt that is anti corrosion does the job?
  6. after a long day of putting the car together, i drained the rad but on second drain did under estimate how hot it is so when opened the engine block one, it was boiling hot and i removed my hand immidiatly now bolt is gone. i opened a new thread as need to sort this urgently so hope someone can help please i suppose it is m10 as spanner size was 14mm but have no clue as to what i should do now. can't find one on ebay so would the oil drain plug work with it ?
  7. after lots of vacumming , crank without plug etc , i turned it on and it is ok
  8. so here is the answer.. that bit at the end is idle control valve or IAC . three pipes all run water through them. one from engine block goes to the left side as if you stand in direction of the car other two , one goes to throttle body and other to manifold job done..
  9. worked but car was running as if it was missing . i suppose that is expected as link map won't be perfect right ? i am refering to base map
  10. hi all, took my intake manifold apart to paint and took number of pictures but have missed one area and now struggling to workout what goes where. please can you help , see pics below. first pic you can see front of the manifold toward front of the car. i am fairly confident on this conections as took number of pics but wanted to double check. 1. red goes to the manifold which i think is water as per the drawing. 2. green goes to the throttle body my main issue is pic 2 as follow: 1. what goes to the green one , there is a pipe from under the manifold connected to the engine block, is that the one ? 2. what goes into the green ones? i have simply connected the throttle body to the manifold directly as per the orange bit .. i really appreciate your help as i can't start the car until i work this out
  11. No table but value in ms so will half that roughly
  12. spoke to Link tech and was told I could change the injector opening time to half which would allow the engine to run on the 630cc injectors and can slowly drive it to tuner. thoughts?
  13. All, i am running one pipe from rocker cover to catch can and one from can to intake pipe as per standard setup . there are two breather holes on rocker cover one of which connects to the other on the rocker cover and then connected to intake manifold i have a 3 port baffled moshimoto catch can so will just block one of the in ports. my question is , do i gain anything by running two seperate pipes to catch can from rocker cover rather than following the existing standard setup? 2. There is also a pcv valve, can i either block it or run it to the can? it goes from rocker directly to manifold finally on rb25 neo, there is also a pipe from manifold to the intake and it is rubber sized around 30mm or so, what is that?
  14. Sucker won’t come off i tried vacumme so next step is get a tourch and blow it through spark hole to melt it, would that damage anything? i also saw lots of small stone and dirt on the pistone , argggggg
  15. How would you remove it though as you can’t get vasaline there you need something that sprays
  16. wow and engine had survived? I bought a borescope camera to check inside there and try once again with vacumme and if not then will do compression without plug and if not then leave it for engine to take care of it . i just want to be on safe side whilst on the topic, what would you put on injector oring to make it slide in and out, would wd40 damage it ?
  17. Was changing plugs and bit of plastic sucker which was from the spark plug loom fell into the hole can’t get it out using vacume or gum so question is, would i just start the car and hope it burns or it can do damage? i am scared it may get stuck between valve and valve seat or i could removr plug, diconnect fuel pump and crank the engine to force it out
  18. friend of mine had its car totaled by a dealer here who was meant to service it . a 19 years old took it out and trashed it who was a technician a question re link ecu, I installed new turbo and wanted to take the inlet manifold out to paint it. whilst doing it, I realised how much of a pain it can be to even change the injectors so I have decided to get the 630cc injectors and install it and take it to tuner. my question is, if i simply plug the g4 into the car, can i change the injector size and then the base map will inject correct amount of fuel or no ?
  19. So oil cooler installed and mounted next is the an fitting with braided line does anyone have any experience with these fittings? i have not shaved off the braided line before pushing it into the fitting, see pic below . is that ok? does the pipe head need to sit flush and spotless with the nut or will it get pulled it once tightened? I don’t have a vice so that is as much as it goes also i have cut the pipe in half and below is best i could achive which is not straight but almost there any suggestions?
  20. Well explained so what happens when power from ecu goes then you are missing one of the sources needed( positive or negative) right? if you do then it shouldn’t matter if you have a permanent ground or ecu ground
  21. Can’t be asked now as it is all back together but should have video it how would two negative run a pump?
  22. Look at the guide, black/yellow is + and other green/white is -
  23. This is driving me insane i have installed a new boss kit and it won’t f****ng come off i have used wd40 and plus gas on it and have wiggled it for over 1 hour and it doesn’t budge i have no leverage so scared of braking the hub kit as i use the steering wheel to pull it can’t also get steering puller as there is nothing to bolt it onto any suggestions ?
