All was out on drift day and car was shit it actted like open diff and having read many posts everyone says it is lsd however they wear and either need ri shimming or change oil some said it is open in first and lsd kicks in, in second gear which again mine was spinning on one side throughout so what would you do? don’t want to weld it as it is a daily car secondly hicas has not being removed so it still has hicas but fuse pulled could hicas even though off be causing it to work as open diff?

I know my intercooler is blitz so i would have hoped it is well known can’t get hold of my tuner to confirm how car has been setup but very strange as at times it boosts to 17.2 psi and at times 15 Almost always boosts to 17 on cold but as soon as warm it is hit and miss so unsure of what it is i assumed he is using air intake temp to control boost so using water injection to cool the temp anyway engine runs better with cooler temp

Hi guys, has anyone had return body oil of their turbo cracked or having hair line crack? i narrowed my oil leak to that and changed gasket and tightened again but it is still leaking so making me think it is a hairline crack on either pipe or turbo looks like this https://images.app.goo.gl/XPiTLT73APtUsVNG7

  7. It is whatever they sent with pack which is 6mm on the 1/4" No issues at pump or filter just the bloody nozzle so me thinking it is vibrating and need to allow a bit more of loose pipe
  8. changed to greddy and i was very happy as boost built to 17 psi but that was short lived as it soon dropped to 15.4 psi again as soon as car was hot. need to speak to tuner i spoke he is using air temp to adjust fuel and boost so don't have too much boost when hot
  9. my bloody water pipe keeps popping out of the nozzle. I have made sure the head is round and it is firmly pushed into the pneumatic head. Could it be cable needs to have more loose section as vibration could be pulling it out ?

Actually the car runs really good and link ecu is mapped so when temp is high then boost is dropped when temp is around 25 degree the boost goes to maximum of 15.5 psi now temp is around 16 degree and boost at 17 psi. Water only Aem says the injector has to be above the tank so gravity won’t pull that is my difficulty now as i want the injection to be right after intercooler so temp is dropped by the time it is at air temp sensor but that is presenting a problem as it is lower than the tank so testing this gravity pulls water even when off this is when the pipe is off the injector and hanging but as soon as it is inserted , it does not seem to leak. I have filled the tank to the lip and not a single drop when plugged in i can only assume because there is a nozzle and it is small, it is cancelling the gravity or water can’t flow same as when it is unplugged my question is , is there a valve or something that opens under pressure so i can insert it meaning gravity can’t pull water and once the pump injects that is only when it opens? here is a pic of the nozzle https://h-tune.co.uk/aem-v2-water-methanol-nozzle-and-jet-kit/?currency=GBP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlrCiwKrL4QIVLrXtCh3X_QPuEAQYAiABEgJmS_D_BwE am i correct thinking it is check valve?

  14. thanks mate, i suppose in stage 4 you are refering to recirculating the vapor or oil into intake before turbo ? mine is blowing to air so don't want any sh*t in my intake only thing i have not checked is return on turbo, can leaking return line cause any blue smoke or crank pressure apart from obviously loosing oil as it returns ? I am planning to change the gasket again in case that is the culprit as there is hardly any oil in catch can or intake pipe so can only think leaking oil from turbo, drain or sandwich plate ..
  15. yes have it and installed. taking it to a shop to weld the bung so can insert the nozzle into intake as it stands it is hanging in engine bay safely ! so 50 50 water meth does not burn ? What is the point of adding it then ?
  16. Will check the car over again as it is driving me nuts now it seems whatever i do there is still either leak or burning does faulty bov result in burning oil?

Well i was thinking of mixing it with water and store but currently not living in house so will be stored in bathroom and feel a bit uneasy on it if you mix methanol with water, does it loose its burning quality or ignite as quickly for instance fuel doesn’t mix with water but not sure if this is the case for methanol

Well tuner has locked the map so not much choice as i have to pay a full fee for someone else to remap it is not connected yet but i noticed it had finished one gallon on my way back ( pipe is in engine bay under filter) until i weld a bung seeing that and also the fact that methonal is dangerous to store, i am thinking of using water only with no meth to keep it cool
  19. Fitted and seems to be ok now one question though, i seem to be going from high to low on dip stick every 200 miles or even less so burning around 200 ml is that normal? no smoke or minimal though

Hi guys i know this question has been asked but wanted some assurance before buying it and pick your brain tuner told me the car is loosing around 20-30 bhp when hot so my plan was to get water injection to cool it without futher tune i did and fully installed. It is the aem and recommand 50-50 water and methonal mix i know wwater won’t burn and it will only cool the temp and do know meth burns but has a very high octane i also know if you inject too much water you can get hyro lock or have a very rich mixture casuing engine damage injector is progressive with start psi to full psi my question is , could i set it so it injects water/ meth to cool intake without needing a retune? my max boost is around 17 psi and i plan to set it so it comes on at 8 psi and progressively injects more as it gets close to 17 psi. re water, would you put mineral water or tap water. Most people say de ironised but does it matter if i put tab water in? re methonal, i know it is a cheminal and googling comes up with hundrands of them from 95% pure and above. Is there a specific meth i need to get or whatever? in cold season can you put antifreeze to stop it freezing? I had an old prosport which have used for years and i bought a greddy as controller but that soon became redundant as tuner used the link g4 boost solonoid so ecu is controlling it i have paid for both so decided to keep both and what i have noticed is prosport reads 18 psi and greddy 15.5 so a difference of 2.5 psi there is a vacume pipe after throttle body connected to both gauges and also blow off valve ( two tees) could the tee be causing pressure drop? Greddy used to read 17psi until below my greddy controller was inside the hood with prosport sender but i relocated the controller to inside the car and run a vacume pipe through fw to it. Since then it is reading around 2 psi less no leaks on inside hose to the greddy controller as when i blow ( no where close to boost level) but it is not leaking thoughts? also have bought a water injection which needs a boost source so planning to tee off the hose inside and connect it to it so in essense i will have 4 devices( two gauge, bov and water injector) running off that single vacumme

Touch wood nothing so far the pipe that came with moshimoto was cheap as it looked like a water hose and after little drive it heated up and car was smoking like hell i was so annoyed until i realised that was the culprit put a stainless steel braided and good now only issue is the pcv valve is not fully inside the rubber gourmet and if hose is pulled or moved it moves out a little bit and that too me creates boost leak under boost as boost from manifold escaps can i put black silicon on it?
