  2. https://gcg.com.au/petrol-performance/performance-4/turbochargers-kits/gcg-gtx3582r-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-detail?fbclid=IwAR3xgEIMq7gjnlexgoSUjwU061fWkvztQpDhNVhj8VEmuJo5XEKOm8_HDZY Hey guys, what are peoples thoughts about these turbos? What sort of power can i expect from one of these with standard manifold and 3 inch dump with the standard flange? Cheers
  3. Hi mate, i keep googling and can't find much on brake clearance for these wheels. Did you have any problems with these clearing gtst brakes on the front?
  4. Thanks for such a negative response gtsboy, you really know your stuff
  5. so if the shim has play, from obvious signs of wear, what do you do about it?
  6. Hey guys, Pulled my diff apart today which is a standard viscous LSD to put some shims in. I noticed the right side shim which is 0.8mm has worn and is pitted and warped, the left side isn't as bad and is 1.4mm. When i went to pull the centre out i didn't have to force it much to get it out, so I'm thinking of changing the bearings as well. The diff felt pretty good before i pulled it apart and i was happy with the backlash. I have read most people are putting in a 0.8mm shim each side on top of the original shim, this seems like a lot of shimming but i just want to here peoples thoughts. Cheers
  7. Thanks man, yeah some good ideas there, I'm definately up for a rebuild, will be doing these before re assembling.
  8. yeah too easy mate. yeah I've removed mine as my catch can is vented to atmosphere not yet but will do so in the next couple of days
  9. Nice mate, sounds like a strong motor. Do you think the pcv helps with blow by? Any pics of your catch can setup?
  10. built motor or unopened? what sort of breather setup are you running?
  11. Hey guys, Have recently had problems with excessive blow by at the track. I have an at performance catch can with 2.3l capacity and fill it up after 5 or so laps. Have been told this is normal for Rb's but seems pretty excessive. I have seen peoples setups to drain from the head back to the sump but a healthy motor shouldn't need that? Im only running 250hp with a standard high flowed turbo. Thinking i need a rebuild but want to here peoples thoughts. Do freshly rebuilt rb25det's still push oil out at the track? TIA
