Guys, DTM Melbourne is having a photo-shoot this Saturday. We have spent quite some time finding the ideal places for photo's with a city-backdrop. A few ideas: The Rooftop Carpark near Centra Hotel/World Trade Centre The carpark near Docklands Bolte Bridge The Federation Square Carpark (rooftop) The Black Rock Yacht Club Car-Park Samples of the first two. (Sorry about the quality)

Driving up Arthurs Seat - (well, driving swiftly up Arthurs Seat), Guy in front of me begins to loose it and just past the apex of the corner puts the anchors on and stops dead. There's me, just coming round the corner at about 40km/h... Slowed down to 15km/h before impact, but still $12,000 damage to my car.

Be glad there's no market interest for skylines in Aust - if there was, the fuctory would import them and then they'd be subject to heaps of import duty and luxury car tax and stuff... (Don't know for sure, so correct me if i'm wrong, but I think they are cheaper coz they are not imported by the factory.)

$50k will also get you a mid 90's BMW M3. Full leather interior, climate control etc. but don't forget M = Motorsport AND Manual! M3 is not a slow car either...

Happened to me at 105km/h in the middle lane on the western ring road once... Rear tyre - not pleasant at all. Didn't loose control or anything, managed pulled over as soon as I could merge to the emergency stoppign lane - no damage to mechanicals, just the rear mudguard panel of the car damaged where a 36-inch long piece of tyre had delaminated, bent the panel then torn off and was left on the road. Wouldn't want it to happen in again!

Very good news... I had a few DTM guys driving past wreckers and stuff looking... Very glad it's recoverred!
