  1. LOL fair point, I will add the comma next time. Also, I forgot about this being an Australian forum and you guys are gun free ish.
  2. I think those may be the ones I skimmed through before. I’ll have to take a look. Thanks!
  3. I’ll have to look into the LHD HIDs, the headlights hadn’t crossed my mind yet. Have a link? Honestly, I’d love some flash modern looking ones, but it seems like they all require an imagination and taking apart factory ones. I would prefer just bolting in. It also surprises me that no one makes a single unit, as opposed to the headlight/ turn signal two peice. A lot of the cars sold here in the States in the 80s and 90s have aftermarket one peice options available.
  4. I’ll dig some pictures up. It’s a slow moving project. Electronic Fuel injected 302, flat top pistons, GT Cam, GT40p heads, Trick Flow upper and lower intake manifolds, BIG billet throttle body, mustang GT ecu, MSD bits, Mustang GT T5, 8.8 IRS LSD rear end out of an SVT Cobra Terminator. 15x9 and 15x10 diamond racing wheels, low pro pop up projector headlights. Better suspension, brakes, and roll bar to come.
  5. Ok, I was most concerned about running the power steering “de powered” I know some cars are sensitive about that. The dash light I was referring to more as I thought it was evidence of some kind of HICAS work. I will follow up with the previous owner and see if he can explain what all has been done. HOPEFULLY, I won’t have to purchase any extra parts, but we shall see. The other options are certainly easier; I would just rather spend the money on fun stuff.
  6. PT1 I recently purchased my first Skyline and the owner stated that they had done the HICAS delete. I am unsure what path they took, but I have the dash light on AND he claims to have utilized a Pathfinder power steering pump. I read through the various HICAS posts and saw lots of good ideas, but I did not see this listed as one of them. Has anyone had any experience with this? I got the car and the belt was splitting, I used the part number from the belt to replace it (the belt looked relatively new). Now, the second belt has shredded in less than a week. The pump has a standard tensioner with a grooved track, one long bolt that adjusts tension, and another bolt that locks it in place on the track and provides minimal in and out adjustment. Everything looks ok, but clearly if I am eating belts there is an issue. What I have noticed on both instances, is that the belt splits directly down the middle; I am unsure what this is indicative of. PT2 Will it hurt the power steering rack if I drive it without power steering? My temporary solution has just been to drive it manually, sans belt.
  7. Hello all, My name is Ethan and I am from Columbus, Ohio, USA. I have a 1991 BNR32 that I purchased 2 weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. Car has 100k km/ 60k mi , is the KH2 Gunmetal Grey, and has some mild mods- Blitz Pods, Blitz BOV, 5Zigen catback, tein coilovers, some fancy strut tower bars, turbo timer, track timer, projector headlamps, n1 grill and aluminum hood, and BNR34 wheels. I am hoping to upgrade the turbos, install an EBC, get a bigger fuel pump and injectors, and turbo back piping. I am very new to this platform, so I am here for advice and information. A little about me, I am a husband and father of two. For work I am an IT consultant, hobbies include guns, video games, and car things. I also own a 1978 Datsun 280z with a L28ET and a 1991 Mazda Miata with a Ford 302 EFI. I suck at intros, if you have questions, don't be shy.
  8. Have any front shots of the car?
