I was going to do that vh45-auto rwd, I found a front cut checked it all out could forsee a few problems like sway bar and rack clearance issues and many others, so I went for the 26+5speed instead now that thats running I wish I did the v8. it would have been cheaper and more original and just as much work as the rb26 and 5 speed conversion. maybe my next project will be vh45 powered? oh and when I say it would have been cheaper is cause I do all my own work and infinty front cut for 3k half the price of a gtr front cut... Oh and back on topic, if you drive a stagea you will be more attractive to the opposite sex

If the ems number is correct then they havent posted it yet (nengun) I have had the same bad service from them but your parts allways arive. Customer service is crap thats why I dont use them unless I have to. took 2 months for my last order to arive 2 months after I payed for it....

I have an os twin plate suit rebuild will let you have it cheap cost $400-450 to rebuild, great clutch but I went to a new nismo twin for bit more bite. pm me if your interested.

dont worry about a front mount till you get your turbos, put that money on a pfc. I would do zorst 1st then intake then pfc/tune boost controler after that you may wanna look at a new clutch? but I dont know your cars history you may already have a good clutch???

Through the top I put them in seperately its easyer but you need experiance getting gearbox in but I can do it in about 2hrs this way (only bolted in not hooked up) if you have a hoist drop the subframe. undo the hicas crap lines etc undo coupling from steering col-rack, remove you waistegate actuators, put motor and box onto crossmember bolt up mounts,drive shaft/axles, use 2 gearbox lifts 1 under crossmember 1 under gearbox raise up slowly bolt up. I looked at doing it from top box attached and it look like a world of hurt to me. But if you try it let us know how you go. if you need more advice pm me.

motor will tilt back after you remove gearbox crossmember.

drop crossmember, best done with a hoist. whole subframe just lowered out of car as hoist is raised (best way to do it)

Man the comments on this just prove most of you guys are narrow minded. The ls1 is more economical than all late model skylines and 350zs etc... I have owned, built and still own rb25s 26s 30s ls1s my rb30dett motor used allmost twice as much fuel as my old ls1, it made more peak power than the ls1 but ran slower than the ls1. I bet in time say 20+ years most of us will be wishing we had one of these comonwhores parked in the shed. Oh and my rb26 stagea would also run quicker times and use less fuel if I had put an ls1 in it instead of the rb26 (but I just couldnt bring myself around to it) vh45 nissan v8 would be good aswell. I did consider that! Oh and I know of a couple of twin turbo ls1s that make scary power and incredable torque and get 10ltrs per 100ks on average mixed highway/town. Think one ran mid 10`s on pump fuel (unconfirmed).

Its not hard you need the pinouts for the 33gtst and the gtr loom then you will see what needs changing? I had to strip and trace wires cause I couldnt find a complete harness diagram so you may have to do that too. Also I think 32 and 33 gtr harness is the same? (engine)

Spotted a white ser1 rs260 on teviot rd greenbank, I`ve seen a nice bayside blue series 2 getting around Jimboomba too.
