  1. Good for you Marc. FJ22 is my dream engine... Are we going to see any power upgrades in the near future? Also did you find any decent projects about? I'm sort of in the market for one.
  2. Man... wish I had the cash and place to store it. Looks like a great car. Well worth the money. Too cheap tbh. Keen to see the tail lights. Do you mind if I post it on auszoku?
  3. How can I check if I have an F54? All I could see on both sides of the engine was the 'L28' and block serial number.
  4. Should I have replaced the main gasket/seals on the lights...? Will have to wait and see if mouture forms I guess.
  5. Yeah she scrubs up pretty good.. Paint is sort of like a double edged sword as it brings attn to parts not quite as fresh. Bit of an update. Polished the wheels up a bit ready for cjss and prospective buyers. Also went 1/2's with a mate in a complete parts car that I will be pillaging bits off. We arrived presuming that he was looking for about $400.. Ended up he needed it gone and we got it for $200 without any barganing! Was a clean rego'd car driven by an old lady until it the engine ceased about a year ago. I'll be trying to swap most of the interior. Same spec interior but alot of moisture has got in through rust holes in the roof.
  6. Gave the old girl a wash and installed the tail lights the morning she arrived. Lights where in and working in 1/2 an hour

  10. Ok lights are now DEFINATELY for sale. Sorry shipping only within Aus at this stage. Saving for suspension and wheels is more important for me atm. If I was rolling in cash I would defs be keeping them. Price revised to $550 posted around Australia. some fresh detailed pics attached.

I payed 25000 yen + commissions and shipping etc. Lights are complete and in overall good condition. Chrome strip on the centre garnish has some corrosion. Looking for $450 firm + post.   16. Silent shadow, nice, there is a nostalgic jap meet in october at strathpine I'll be entering with some Auszoku boys, should bring your coupe along. I will only ever need 4 stud for the wheels that I am interested in fitting. Custom FTL! I like paying for jap quality control, damper adjustments are usually better too. I've been told the pitman arm isn't quite up to the task after s13 coilovers are installed?? Gordie, I want to find some aftermarket cusco hr31/dr30 strut tops.. should post up the process with pics, or just let us know how you go.
  17. Starting to think about coilovers for the sedan. Aiming for low speed drift events like archerfield. Would like s13 front and rear 8kg & 6kg. Rear from what I gather is piss easy, just need to change the tops to r30/hr31 and they slip straight in. As for front... don't want s13 hubs, they seem unnecessary on DR30's wich I believe share the same suspensions as c210. Is there an easy/cost effective way to upgrade the pitman arm on a c210? Not too fond of custom front struts, keep that idea as a last resort..

  20. This dosen't sound good. I have payed a 2k deposit for this car, no mention of it not running. I've heard next to nothing since it was made. When I did speak to him like 4 days ago he said the ignitor was replaced as it didn't start. no contact since, phone is off, Was starting to lose patience then I read this. Brad about what date did you see it not running? I have a set of JDM hotplates on the way for it already,

  24. Well, the dream might be over before it started.. I need $$$ and am looking for interest on my Iron Mask coupe. All mods were carried out in Japan, they include: Bride fixed back seat Side mount rail Nardi 330mm wheel Safety 21 1/2 cage Pivot shift light Speed/rev meter Greddy boost controller Greddy turbo timer 4 Omori/greddy gauges Cusco strut brace Cusco camber plates Old FMIC kit HKS POD Grex Oil cooler + filter relocation Kakimoto 3 inch exhaust with front pipe Bilstein shocks Lowered springs 15x6.5 SSR Formula mesh Damage: Drivers door caught on something while reversing - 2 spare doors are included. Aus spec guards can be had for around $60 It is uncomplianced but falls under the pre 89 rule, so in theory it can be registered. Like most DR's it has some rust. The ECU was changed from a standard unit to a Mines one before it was picked up by the car carrier and now it won't start Recent compression test came out fine. It has the late DR30 bodykit complete in vgc. $3000 as it sits, or closer to $4000 for it running good Not looking at parting out yet.. Sorry!! [email protected]
