  1. Spoke to Troy through that last number. Put me onto the Rite Price mob. Had a a chat to a guy there and they can do it. Bit pricey and I would have to change my wheels (15x9.5 rears). Thanks guys, still open to suggestions on another place that may be a bit cheaper and more lenient.
  2. Yeah, said he had no idea on pre 1989 compliance up my way. Only Brisbane shops listed on the RAWS site.
  3. Called Bruce, said he has no idea
  4. Hi, looking for a one stop shop to get my 1984 DR30 complianced on the sunny coast.
  5. Anyone know of a good reasonably priced mobile detailer? Need a quick buff and polish on the DR.
  6. 8kg is nothing for me, Streeted my Cefiro exactly as it was drifted at Tsukuba circut with 14KG & 10KG with fixed back seat. Actually wishing I went with 9 or 10kg fronts. Wondering if I should go 7kg rears to combat squat and help have fun in the rain/skidpan. Curious to what your 'track' specs are on the purple people eater Dennis?
  7. Need to finalize rear spring rates. Does anyone know what percentage a dr30 coupes weight distribution is? I saw Dennis mention standard rear springs are heavier in the rear on Aus delivered models. Thanks,
  8. Pretty cool. Wouldn't be too hard or expensive to replace though. Would hazard to guess it's on an exchange basis.
  9. Keen on viewing pics of these cars together!
  10. Their still standard underneath. I believe the correct method goes a little something like this- First cut off lip then cut outer about 15mm higher and used wire brush attachment on drill to take back to bare metal. This is so the epoxy used later on will bond properly. Then used vise grips, hammer and dolly to pull inner lip over outer. Hammered flat. Used wire brush again to take down to bare metal then applied 2 part epoxy to seam. Lastly riveted for good measure. Now all need to do is throw a bit of silicone over rivets ends in wheelwell and paint etc.
  11. Suspension still needs to be installed. Will be sweet, I figure any things better than the current choppies. Will have to talk to compliance dudes about cutting rear 1/4's though.
  12. Thanks. Was lucky to get hold of the towel. Yep bought from ebay... There is a dedicated ebay saga thread around somewhere.
  13. Thought I would post progress to date on my coupe. Since the last update I've acquired a few parts and soon the show will be on the road. First was a set of SSR center caps. Then sourced a RS emblem towel to cover my shredded rear headrests. Finally it was time to start gathering suspension components. Jenesis A8 coilovers where fabricated in custom colours with 8kg springs. Rears soon to be added with whiteline sway bars wich are sitting next to me. Custom 30mm roll center adjusters are en route from the USA. Tyres are next on the agenda. Looking at Toyo T1-R's in 205/55 & 195/55
  14. Looking good. What spring rates are you running?
  15. 8kg Front and 10kg rears?? Hmm I have whiteline swaybars, 8kg fronts, was going to go 6kg rears but now you have me thinking I could go 7kg.. Should post some vids. I love seeing DR30's skidding.
  16. Curios as to what are your full suspension specs are man? Is it setup more for drift or time attack? Rego'd?
  17. Just waiting to hear back about replacements. Rear bar is tweaked ever so slightly. Has been left dormant in garage since pics were taken.. Can get more detailed ones this week if your keen Socs? I'll have to ask about the front trim. Jarryd.
  18. Have some C210 bumpers that will probably be up for grabs in the next couple of weeks. Rear in VGC, includes all trims but no brackets. Front has a kink in it, suit restoration. Front does not include brackets, side trims or lights. $200 for both.
  19. That would be great man if you could confirm. On road very soon. Basically need to: Acquire rear coilovers, cut 1/4's, buy tires then compliance.
  20. Asking for a mate, well sort of.. We want to go 1/2's in a set of coilovers, he wants the fronts, I want rears.. They are the weld on base type pictured below. Main question is will they work? Is strut tube diameter the same between dr30 and c210?
  21. Top job looks great. Wish I was that crafty.
  22. Do c210 brakes/hubs fit straight onto dr30 struts?
  23. Will do. New whiteline swaybars ordered and custom roll center adjusters located. Should handle well when it's all sussed.
