  1. Excellent fun with the plod, I'll have to try it again. Definitely had a laugh at that. As stated previously, Brett and I will be taking on the role of the monthly cruise so keep your peepers out for the info on the next one and don't forget to visit the WCC website because it will be posted on there as well. Have fun with your new job Olivia and we'll take good care of your baby.
  2. That sounds like fun. I'm gonna try it.........
  3. It's basically a baby GT-R man. The downside is that it won't fang like a GT-R in stock form but with a bit of fettling, it'll get up and boogie with excellent results. The upside is that when a RB26DETT goes bang, you'll be looking at big bucks to fix it. When an RB20DET goes bang, you won't be sitting in your bedroom with your head in your hand balling your eyes out. If you want to later on down the track, you can drop a 26 in if you have the know how, but you'd be happy with a mildly worked 20. As far as the price is concerned, if you have half a brain cell, all those items can be fixed with minor ease and the parts should be easy to get hold of. I have seen the Gts-4 with GT-R headlights as well as Gts-t type, so it may be either. The GT-R headlights are a projection style (little round light with a squarish light next to it). HICAS is a pain in the butt. Many of us disconnect it with a lockout bar, but if you really want it working do a search as there are a few factors that come into play when they go. It could be a fuse as mentioned previously or it could be the reservoir in the boot is low in fluid. Front bar, go aftermarket. Though it's your call what you do, if it was me, I'd grab it. Minor issues only.
  4. Bah!
  5. Okay, if nobody has any objections, Brett and I will take the cruises over. We have been working on a little something for the past month and we will be talking to people tonight about it and posting up more info after tonight's cruise. Look forward to seeing you all there.
  6. I've put a full R33 GT-R interior into my 4-door R32 Gts-t. I can't see why it won't work if I did it with no alterations.
  7. The cops would give you a lickie for anything they wanted, permits or not. Problem will always be unsolved until they are held accountable for handing out bullshit yellows.
  8. If you were to hit a pedestrian at a speed where the bonnet would shatter, the cuts would be the least of his/her worries as they would resemble minced meat from the impact anyway. Just put your stockie back on and when the lickie is off, go home and put the CF bonnet back on. Problem solved.
  9. Tee it into the wastegate actuator line. Simple.
  10. The splash guards help with holding back an accumulation of crap from building up in the fender area. Over here in WA they are an ADR requirement - Don't ask me why, even my inspector couldn't tell me the logic behind it. To replace one should cost you SFA from someone wrecking a 33.
  11. Yep, sorry guys. My bad. Brain fart........ The other one was the S2 came out with a nylon compressor wheel - correct me if I'm wrong Bubba, oh wealth of knowledge you are
  12. I'll be there. Will there be any undercover meet points this time? This seems to be the downside to the cruise as some people can't help attracting unwanted attention. As far as taking over the cruise duties is concerned, Brett and I have been working on a little something that could accommodate the gap. More info will be available within the next couple of days so stay tuned.
  13. S2 has: No ignitor at the rear of the valley cover. A big lump on the front of the timing cover.
  14. My Walbro is a GSS342 (255lph) and will support up to 500 ponies. I got it off eBay for less than $160 delivered to my doorstep. It may be no Nismo 280lph which costs about $500, but if you plan to run less than 500hp, why not give it a thought. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/WALBRO-GSS342-FUEL-...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/WALBRO-255-L-Hr-FUE...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://www.nengun.com/nismo/fuel-pump-skyline http://www.slidingperformance.com/store/in...p;productid=113
  15. A recon kit. It has the seals and piston rubbers in it. Put one through your master and while you're at it, drop one into your slave. Go to Nissan, a brake parts store, or an auto store like Stupid Cheap to buy them. This is an EXAMPLE ONLY of what you're looking for: http://www.shopping.com/xDN-automotive_par...er_cylinder_kit
  16. Put a kit through it, it'll cost about $30-50.
  17. The ignitor is in the coil packs on the S2.
  18. Take it straight to a licensing center for evaluation and see what the inspector says. When I was first done for a lickie I was written up for a shitload of crap and the inspector gave me a permit for everything but one item. The cops don't know shit about ADR's, they're more interested in giving you a hard time.
  19. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Strike that ripoff merchant from the list of workshops to trust.
  20. Look near the fuel pressure regulator at the front of the plenum, you'll see a 10mm bolt. That's your baby.
  21. A stupid question, but have you pulled the restrictor yet?
  22. Only if you intend on using an aftermarket ECU and cranking up the boost with the usual supporting mods.
  23. I like my Nismo gear but compare the price of a Nismo to a Walbro.
  24. Not at all.
  25. As I said previously and many others have stated, there's no gain. If you like the aesthetics, do it, it's your coin but be prepared for a little extra lag.
