  1. There's tons of threads on this subject man, do a search and you'll find what you're looking for.
  2. Congrats guys. Now it starts......
  3. We're talking about thousands of dollars to repair the items listed. Take into account that with the condition of the engine oil, clutch/brake fluids, and coolant, I would suggest that the vehicle has been poorly serviced and I wouldn't trust it as far as I could spit. I would even venture to guess that the 100,000 major service has not been completed. There's also quite a few defectable issues so you'll be driving around with a yellow sticker time bomb. This link (http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/NISSA...n=All%20Regions) shows that the market price for them is about $13,000.00. I reckon that the owner won't drop his/her price because the next person who comes along will take it at the asking price if they are not aware of all the issues. Seriously, I would wait for the next one.
  4. A lot of little things add up to a big problem. If you were mechanically minded and able to do the work yourself then it may be worth getting depending on the price. If you weren't capable, then I would suggest no. The oil leaks alone in the engine bay may require a lot of work and could be costly. There are a lot of 33's out there that you should be able to get in better condition than this one. Be patient, and don't rush into something that you may regret.
  5. You really need to learn to search dude. NAVARA PART NUMBER USING VL TURBO SENDER
  6. Typed in "gearbox speedo drive" http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/se...ox+speedo+drive Got these: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/El...ox+speedo+drive http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ox+speedo+drive http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ox+speedo+drive http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ox+speedo+drive There's more in the very top link. Too easy.
  7. If you do a search dude, you'll find a lot of threads on this. Basically two ways. Nissan Navara speedo drive or convert the 25 drive.
  8. The engine and drivetrain would go nicely in my 32
  9. Short answer - no. Lots of guy's do it as it helps eliminate the heatsoak in the valley which can lead to coilpack breakdown.
  10. Near the PCM valve on the driver's wheel well. It'll be in the line where the yellow band is.
  11. Only the RB26DETT has the restrictor in it near the PCM, RB25DET's don't. As far as the RB25DET's are concerned, I wouldn't push one past 12psi safely. In saying that, V8EATER was caning his RB20DET around pushing 18psi before we dropped the RB26DETT in, but it would only have been a matter of time before the turbo failed.
  12. I got mine from Japan, but as I said - they were in the same packaging as the picture above.
  13. I don't have a 2530. I use a custom built T3/T4 that was built from the ground up for me personally by Grant at Per4manz.
  14. In the vicinity of 280rwkw. A lot of us are surprised that she's held out this long with 100% stock internals. I have a spare engine sitting here waiting to go in when this one finally pops, but so far all is sweet. I want to wind her up a little more but my injectors are slowing me down at present. There have been a few SAUWA & WCC members who've had a ride, and they weren't disappointed.
  15. The bastards will defect your vehicle even if you have a mod permit. Have a read of this CLICK ME, it's my personal experience with defects to date. Keep it legal and get screwed over anyway, or do whatever you want and get done for something that you did. It's your call.
  16. These are the ones I bought. I have only seen the Splitfires in this packaging so there's no need for concern dude. No issues at all with mine.
  17. I'm pushing 28psi through mine and I've had no issues for nearly 3 years now.
  18. If you know someone who would be willing to spend hours modifying an aftermarket steering wheel to adapt the airbag then you'll be in luck. I have yet to see an aftermarket wheel with the provision for an airbag, but that's not to say that it hasn't been done. Maybe you'll get lucky. Other than that, eliminating the airbag is a both a safety and a defect issue and it's your call to go down that path if you wish, but in the unfortunate event that you may be involved in an accident, the airbag would be a handy thing to have on your side. Good luck with it though, but if you know someone who is a competent fabricator, anything can be accomplished.
  19. Yup. Everyone I know with one has one somewhere. Cool! They up to the R43 already???? Out of the few R33's and couple of R34's I've done work on, I haven't seen any signs of the bubble. That's not to say that there aren't any out there, I just haven't seen them on the vehicles I've worked on.
  20. They're both the same champ. I've got one from a GT-R in mine.
  21. More than likely the pod dude as the recirculation (boost bypass & PCV) plumbs into the inducer which is after the pod and AFM, pretty much in front of the turbo.
  22. The one I wired up tapped into the accelerometers under the center console.
