  1. What a great day out! We had a lot of fun and everyone behaved so a top effort from all. The winner of the pot ($230.00) was Trevor with a pair of aces. I was leading there for a while, but the GreyWolf snuck up and bit me on the arse. I hope it tasted nice Trev. On the last draw there were a few people needing a certain card for a good hand, unfortunately they all drew an unwanted card. Here are the results from importance: Trevor: QC 8S AD AH 7S - Pair of aces. Allen: QC QS JH 5D AS - Pair of queens. Jess: 7H 6H QS AH 7C - Pair of sevens, ace, queen kicker. Laura: 9H 10H 7C AS 7D - Pair of sevens, ace, ten kicker. Brendan: QC 4D 5D 5S 2D - Pair of fives. Mario: 3H 2H 3D JC 10H - Pair of threes. Tom: QC 2H AC 2C 10C - Pair of twos. Tayla: QS KC AH JS 4D - Ace high, king, queen kicker. Socrates: JD 8S 5S AC KC - Ace high, king, jack kicker. Harris: 9C 5D AH KH 7D - Ace high, king, nine kicker. Cesar: 9H 5S 3S QD AD - Ace high, queen, nine kicker. Troy: QS 3D 5D AH 6H - Ace high, queen, six kicker. Mal: AD 8H JS 3H 3S - Ace high, jack kicker. Naomi: 5D 3C AC 8C 7D - Ace high, eight kicker. Brett: 9H QC 6H 7D KH - King high, queen kicker. Mitchell: JC 3D 6C KC 4S - King high, jack kicker. Roz KH 2H 8C 2C 9D - King high, nine kicker. Ken: 4C 8D 2H QC 10C - Queen high, ten kicker. Marianne: 2D 4H QD 8H 9S - Queen high, nine kicker. Roy: JH 9S 10S 7D 3C - Jack high, ten, nine kicker. Lachlan: 10C 7C JS 8H 2S - Jack high, ten, eight kicker. Yani: 2S 4S 8C 4D JD - Jack high, eight kicker. Scott: 10D 6S 7H 8C 3D: Ten high.
  2. He's driving with his arm out the window. Isn't that illegal unless you're indicating an intention to turn or brake?
  3. As long as you get one specific to your car it'll be a straight swap. I've done 2x32 Gts-t's, 1x32 GT-R, and 1xLegnum with no issues. You can get them at any good performance shop, or eBay. Beware on eBay though as some mobs are selling the knockoffs as genuine Walbro.
  4. Some time ago a company in China copied the Walbro pump and sold it on as a genuine item. These pumps subsequently failed and as a result Walbro copped a bad reputation for selling crap. There's nothing wrong with genuine Walbro pumps and I have been using one now for about 3 years with no issues whatsoever. I have also installed them into a few other cars with a zero failure rate. There are of course better brands out there, but you will get what you pay for and I would say that a genuine Walbro is in the top 10. That's not to say that one of the better brands has a zero failure rate, and if you were to Google you would see what I'm talking about. I won't name the brands here but they still do fail. As long as you find a genuine Walbro pump, you should be happy with the results, though if you're going to be spending a lot of money on an engine, then why skimp, pay the extra for one of the best out there.
  5. *leans back in chair and waits in anticipation of the obvious*
  6. A story for everything, since when? Where have I stated that I have had run in's with the law? It seems you're getting somewhat defensive about people commenting about police. Do you work for them in some way? I was bashed by a cop when I was 16 in the 80's and the bastard got away with it. A mate was provoking one when he was drunk one night and I copped it just because I was with him. I was even trying to shut him up. I even remember his name, would you like that too? This didn't leave me with a scar to the extent that I dislike police just because of one tosser. That came 9 years ago after I bought my first HPV.
  7. Just because he was booked doesn't mean that WAPOL or DPP will follow through. I've seen them get away with assault caught on camera with only a reprimand. I'm also speaking from experience.
  8. I just hope he gets raped as much as anyone else would doing this. Being a cop he should know better and shouldn't receive a free pass. I would also bet my left nut that this isn't the first time he's pulled this stunt, he just got caught this time.

  10. We did an RB26DETT conversion into one. Not much has been done in the body category, but at least you can see how we went about the engine conversion. You can see the process here: http://www.westcoastcruisers.com.au/Forums...t978-p8624.html
  11. Is this what you're looking for? http://www.westcoastcruisers.com.au/Forums...t992-p8688.html
  12. We're presently in the process of dropping a VH41 from a Cima into an R32 race car. We'll be using twin turbos from an R32 GT-R to give it a bit of extra oomph. So far the issues we've run into are the firewall and gearbox adaptor. The firewall is going to need a little massaging and the adaptor is going to have to be fabricated to handle a 25DET box, nothing that won't be achievable. The turbos will end up facing high and forward and we'll need cutouts on the bonnet to make them fit, but we'll have about 2cm on either side for strut tower clearance. I think an NA version is possible for a road car but the LS is a better option for you as there are quite a few threads available on the builds. Good luck with the project.
  13. I bet if I told my teenage kids to hide in the bushes on Albany Highway and throw rocks at cop cars only, they would be arrested. Do you think they would let that ride like they did with Brad? I doubt it. Why then should these pricks get away with it? It seems like the paperwork would have been to much for them.
  14. Yep, and you call and say there's a car doing burnouts in a car park at any location and 5 police cars will rock up in less than 5 minutes. The ball has definitely been dropped.
  15. No, I tried that once and I was told I would be arrested if I didn't stop filming them. Apparently you can't film them in the course of their duties, but the media can and plaster it all over the TV for everyone to see.
  16. 9 times out of 10 these guys don't know the ADR's. When I made enquiries into this I was told that they only have to assume something is defective and it's your responsibility to prove it isn't by way of inspection. Mod permits are worth the paper their written on. I produce my permit every time I'm pulled over and the response I get is that I've swapped out the permitted item. This part of the law sucks, but there's nothing you can do about it. Every now and then you'll get a dickhead like this but just drive straight to your local pit and get it off, take the pit fee on the chin and move on. Cops don't like being proven wrong, and because there is no law against them giving you a hard time, they'll do it. I have been canaried for many things and all I do is return to my local pit and the inspector always removes it without telling me to change something out. This goes to show you how much cops know about ADR's. There's SFA you can do about it dude. Bend over, take it and move on.
  17. If the OP couldn't afford the FMIC, and had access to a 34 SMIC for $20.00, it's worth putting on. It's definitely an improvement over the crap 32 SMIC.
  18. The 34 FMIC is an improvement over the one supplied on the 32. There is a bit of fiddling to get it to fit as it's not a direct bolt on, but it's good for up to about 200kW.
  19. No, they are a different shape. The coupe lights are rounder. You can do it with a bit of fabricating if you really want to. It's been done before.
  20. Any car. Bring an Excel, a truck, a tank.... Whatever works!
  21. I agree to increasing the fines in the school zones. I live across the road from my kid's school and the amount of dickheads who go screaming past while the 40km/h zone is in effect is ridiculous. Being a parent of young children I want to see my kids get home safe and as I only live across the street my need to worry about them crossing the road is pathetic. It's gotten to the point where I have to wait outside after the siren has sounded to help my 8 year old across the street. There have been many instances where I have seen someone come screaming up the road so I now step in front of the car and cause them to come to a screeching halt. What bothers me the most is that 90% of the time, it's some stupid woman who has just picked up her kid(s). I abuse the crap out of them and most times they mouth off back and don't care. I have been to see the cops about it but they say that there's nothing they can do. I called about having a multanova placed on the road to catch these idiots out and to date nothing has happened. Many so called "hoon cars" such as V8's and imports come past doing the speed limit while the school zone speed limit is in effect, but these stupid women can't. If you were to call the police and say that a Skyline is screaming around the school zone the cops would be there in a heartbeat. Because the police don't care about what's happening in front of my house, I will continue to step out in front of these potential murderers until something is done.
