How is a T88 bad for a V8? Why would it not make power after 5,000RPM.. it is not a 2.6ltr. It pushes out enough gasses to spool a T88 by 3000RPM and full max power by 3500RPM @ 17 or so PSI. Guys do not forget , these motors are like 20B's they will spool up anything. They can rev to around 8,000rpm with good cam and ports.

Yes, but it is also another market strat . ATP is NOT GARRET. GARRET IS GARRET. These are all market strats. When you build a turbo you say can i have a GT30 with 60mm compressor wheel, ptrim exhaust wheel, 1.15 rear etc etc. There is allot more then just " HKS GT2530 " That doesnt explain ANYTHING.

what GT30? be more specific.. GT3071R is just HKS making there money for doing F U C K all like import brokers. They are all garret turbo's , garret now offer mixtures of exhaust housings and compressor covers etc. Small A/R will drop off at high RPM and come on earlier. IMO .63 A/R is crap. 0.84 A/R is a great exhaust housing for a RB25DET.

waste of money, build one locally . You will see boost hitting you hard around 5,500RPM on a standard RB26. Do NOT forget you can rev it to around 9,000RPM anyway. You have heaps of rev's left. Get it and DONT look BACK :wassup:

Steve ... nashio.. that air doesnt DAMAGE the compressor wheel or bearings. The air is so light it doesnt effect the turbo. 90% of race cars or serious street cars dont use BOV's. They are a market strategy.. did you know NOT ONE PERSON IN THE WORLD HAS SHOWN PROOF ON DATALOGS THEY WORK!!! Where as people shown they dont do anything. My street car uses a T04S 1.00a/r and it runs always around 22+psi and the turbo has been on it for over 60,000klms. I push the car to its limits and take it to the track/drag races all the time. When is the next meet after the upcoming one ? car will be going to next event!
