what weight do u run Muff? and what do u use the car for?

how often would u sudjust to change oil. ive read somewhere to change oil every 3-5k. im learning here. I havnt got any probs when it comes to swinging on a spanner, it just getting the write gear for the job.

Hey all I understand that this topic would have been covered 1million times. But ive searched around and its hard to make up my mind. R32 Gtr Rb26dett Oil. I do my own oil changes always have, always will. went into a Auto1 yesty and asked the guy for a oil filter and began to talk to him about Oils and what i should run. Since this is my first turbo car i dont no what to put in her and i dont want to do the wrong thing my engine/turbos. He kept tryin to sell me this Nulon 10-30W mineral oil, it was like 30bucks for 4L. In my head im goin Sorry mate but i dont think so. cheap mineral oil mite be ok for my 1994mod 2.4L hilux work ute, but it sure as hell not goin into my gtr. Ok so i understand the oil works on Engine Temps and what the car is used for. I have a APC radiator and my engine dose run very cool when street cruising and with a litle bit of sprinted driving here and there. On the Engine temp Guage on the center Console the temp sits around the Needle thinkness over the 70deg, so id say around 80deg. The car is used for every now and than cruise and want to begin track days within the next couple months, just tryin to find a oil that i can just use, walk in the shop buy it and walk out and use it every time. no muchin round, if u no what i mean. I also will b changing the oil and filter every 3000k's to keep right on top of it. Also How many Litres should my engine take, ive got a Oil cooler in the front bar so that should take 1L or somthing. I no alot of people are just goin to say Motul Motul Motul Motul V300 or what eva. Im just tryin to find somthing thats not stupidly prices 26bucks for 1L is pritty pricey when your changing the oil every 3000ks. But i dont no, hence the reason im typing this right now. haha anyway thanks for everyones help. cheers Deano

hey all Just brought my first Gtr, r32 power Fc Nismo upgraded turbines (T25/T04B 0.64) with metal turbine blades HKS Turbo dump pipes & front engine pipe Tomei sump baffle Tomei type A cams Jun cam gears N1 oil pump Whats safe boost for a Rb26dett what these mods. My boost controller is a Blitz SBC - i-D SPEC - R. If im driving long in say 2nd gear. And roll on boost to 7.3-5k rpm. My boost controler says peak boost 19.5psi. when i got it set on High boost setting. on the other setting it dosent boost past 16psi. I just dont no how much i can lean on it. I have all the recipes for the tuning it was tuned 3months ago for 19psi. But dont no i dont want any probs any time soon. just making sure you no. Have many people boosted there rb26s unforged that high? if its high at all. whats high boost for a non forged rb26? sorry if this sounds like a noob question. Im new the the GTR/rb26 seen. cheers for any help

im pritty sure its a low comp engine mate. since the rebuild.... there fore he can run more boost and make mroe power....

dude..... stop screwing round with crap. Why on earth would u want to down grade yourself for a stupid Diesel car when theres so so many better options out there. Diesel sounds like the best idea and when your tank last you 200k more aweek, everyone thinks they are so great. Even no you have been drivin around in your dog box mummy's car that a B Double can out run from light to light. Diesel engine should be serviced every 5000k, a petrol engine only needs to b serviced 8-10k (normal petrol) A diesel engine car costs norm about 8-10k more, which means, u save money on Fuel, But u pay more the service and buy the dam thing. so unless your goin to keep it for 10-15years its neva goin to pay its self off. that and the fact that u gotta drive round in a shoe box, that i can run faster..... think about it

Hi all. After many years of drool'n over 32 gtr's and wish/wanting to buy one, the time has come. I recently brought a house and at the same time got some extra coin on top of my house loan for my dreamer. ive had skylines b4 while on my [p] i got a r31 with cam,headwork,zorst,extrators which made 120rwkw, and a r33 gts type s but now is my chance to buy the one ive wanted since i was a lil boy. My question is What to look for? Where do i look for probelms? what Year mod should i look for? What year mods are the aussie delivered ones? and whats the benifit of a aussie one. (if there was any) What are the main prob area's with them. eg rust Ive looked on carsale and i found one last week, which had a full rebuild full forged with high flow garrets and it made 236awkw on 21psi. Now in my mind somthing is up with that 21psi 236kw.... things like this ^^^ is wat im askin, i dont wanner buy somthing that has been bodged up. Also im looking for somthing Mint, i have a brand new D40 navara which is my dailie and this gtr will just sit in my garage ready to be drivin on weekends, put it this way the one i buy i never want to sell. i have around 20k to spend thanks heaps for alll replys and sorry its so long to read cheers Deano

yea it just seems everyone with a grey one wants to sell it atm, and everyone with a white one wants to keep it. All the built 32 gtr's around where i live have been and are gun grey, and ive wanted a white one since i was a lil boy. haha ill just keep looking. a white N1 would b insane, how much they goin for??? 25k?

Ive been looking for a Mint WHITE r32 gtr now for about 3-4months. I want somthing with abit of work done to it, around 300rwkw. Why is it that almost all of them are Gun Grey?? Almost all on here are gun grey and carsales has pritty much no white ones within 250k's of my house. I think its crazy did they have like a white paint shortage or was Gun Grey just the in colour error?? thanks ps this mite b a stupid question to some people. buts its just a question im just curious
