  1. Port should hammer them. Along with what you say though Pete, it'd definitely help having a stack of players who missed the showdown to get a run this weekend. having a bit of a read though the shit storm of comments on a news.com.au article about Neil Craig, and supporters having a go at him for his coaching etc. One loss and he gets hammered with heavy criticism all over the place... Not slagging off any AFC supporters on the forum here; a usual Monday after a crows loss, it's always Craigy or the umpires copping a rubbishing by the supporters in my office. How about some of their useless muppet out of form players?
  2. that sleep center joint? might be ax53b70p25's new car...
  3. They're really not a bad car at all. I think a nice clean non-turbo 34 is a pretty decent car for a young P-plater. iseekool pretty much summed it up performance wise. When you say the NA model is 'as bad as people say it is', you're likely talking to someone /reading something that's comparing it's performance to the turbo model. Having driven both myself, the non-turbo is a very different drive - both models are in a class of their own. If you are a young car enthusiast eager on performance and power, buying the non-turbo is a waste of time and money. It's just going to depreciate in value by the time you want to sell it (to then buy a turbo model). If you want to drop in a 25DET NEO later, you are still up for a decent bill - and that's doing all the work yourself. It's worth waiting till you are off your P's, and just going straight to the turbo model. If you don't care about power and performance, and just want the non-turbo model for the fact of owning an r34 - go for it.
  4. Jenna on foot, spotted Steve (Madaz) on North East Rd earlier. Heard you coming from a mile away... he he
  5. My cousin runs his without it, doesn't seem to have any problems. Just be careful there isn't any obstructing items/bits around the exhaust side of the turbo though, you don't want anything to burn. The other small nuisance is everything around the turbo gets a lot hotter - when we were working under the bonnet (particularly on that side of the engine) after taking the car for a test drive, we'd just have to wait for things to cool down.
  6. hey Ryan, theres a DIY about painting 25 covers here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/354645-diy-spraying-cam-covers/ ClutchBurndout- explains a fair bit about removing and refitting. 20 is extremely similar seeing as you're taking the covers off, might be worth giving them a cleanup or even coat of nice paint / powdercoat / whatever as well
  7. tough shots dilf*kin! nice pics! keen to see some better shots of one of these
  8. no kidding!? maybe the n/a's do... I've only ever seen a wood grain 33 console once, but it was in a coupe. I had never seen one prior and thought it was maybe owned by some crazy jap fella with some sort of wood grain fetish!
  9. check for boost leaks. Re check all your piping, joiners, and hoses that you removed & re-installed when doing your spark plug change
  10. that's a 34 you're talking about dude. pretty sure they're the original 34 sedan tail lights
  11. are you sure about that? because every 33 sedan console i've seen (including mine) is black.
  12. I'd imagine removing a 25 with the box would be very fiddly / pain in the arse, but not impossible. Best to clarify with someones whos actually done it; but: We found it pretty simple separating them and removing the engine only. Can't remember exactly how many bell housing bolts there were, but the top ones are the most difficult to get to as you already know. From memory, i think we slightly hoisted the engine with the crane while removing both engine mounts. Once the mounts were removed, we were able to lower the engine a touch more to access the top bellhousing bolts. There still wasnt much room to access them, but you just feel around for them and you'll find them. Removed them with a 14mm (I think) ring spanner
