  1. hey guys, Im chasing a complete rb25det. I will be using it for a full rebuild so doesnt have to be running and can have low comp, in need of a rebuild etc. Or anyone with a full forged engine selling cheap with all reciepts etc for all the work done. Would rather it be in queensland but i dont mind if its interstate
  2. ^^^ exactly. no difference at all
  3. Sorry mate it isnt. If this is the veilside kitted one you have on the way then i hope you didnt pay any extra because it was a so called "vspec" It just seems like a normal gtr with brembo's and a veilside kit. here is your fast Use this website to decode it. http://www.users.on.net/~goofyhsk/info/chassis_plate.html
  4. The only thing i know of that comes close is this http://www.psiparts.com.au/front.asp?pid=47 Hope someone else knows where to find a better one.
  5. sounds a little dodgey to me that he "misplaced" something that important. ^^^ as above. Dont pay for the job until its found and re-attached.
  6. sorry mate but im well and truely sick of people writting up info that isnt correct or definitive. People do change over the diffs. It is pretty bad that this destinctive feature of a r32 gtr vspec isnt a good way of telling if you have a genuine vspec. Like i said above i have seen many "vspec" diff covers on non vspecs in my search for a nice r32 gtr lately.
  7. ahahahahaha
  8. Some nice shots in there. Post up more!!!
  9. mate you actually have no idea what your talking about. Diff housings can be changed over so not a good way to identify a vspec from non vspec. Might be true that vspec doesnt have the finned diff but i have seen plenty of non vspec r32 gtr's that have the flat diff cover. Wrong about the "s" in the model code. All GTR's should have it in the model code as it actually stands for S: Intercooler + Turbo + EGI. So before you make things worse find out some facts. GLAZE post up your vin mate and ill find out for sure what model r32 gtr you have.
  10. Post up the vin in the "vins you want fasted thread" or here and ill check it for you with nissan fast.
  11. here you go mate
  12. I wouldnt be worried about it if you didnt pay the extra for bein a "vspec". As long as your happy it should be fine. Just seems strange to have had the gear put on and a vspec model code but not be a vspec.
  13. Im really hoping im wrong but because it has the brembo's, and all the v-spec running gear as you said, and seems to have a vspec model code but has the vin of a car that was made in 1992....it might be dodgey. Im really hoping its not for your sake but it sort of sounds like someone added vspec gear and tried to pass it off as a vspec with the model code.
  14. If you use the last 6 digits of your vin on the website i use to decode the r32 model codes it says your gtr was built between 07/1992 and 08/1992 so its not a vspec but when i type in your vin nothing comes up. I have to also put in your model code. which confirms it isnt a vspec. Strange because i havent had to do that before. Here is your fast mate
  15. Post up your vin and ill check it out for you.
  16. Just finished washing my car and decided to take a few shots. Should have taken it out of the shade This is my new car that should be here in the next 2 months as long as everything goes to plan. 1993 R32 GTR vspec
  17. A mate i japan got them for me. No. Every place has their own mould of the same kits. Some can be better than others as quite a few people will tell you. The trust front bar your keen on and the trial one you have now are not originals they are fibreglass copies. A genuine Trial front bar will cost over a grand. Where as you can get a copy from ebay for around $200. The guy on ebay you want to buy the trust front bar from does alright copies. Have seen a couple of his trial copy front bars and they are pretty good. A lot better than some other ones i have seen.
  18. Im a huge fan of the 400r side skirts. Had a genuine set on my 33. Very expensive but they look awesome!!
  19. Trail front bar looks awesome IMO. I have one on my r32 and a mate does too. Should have just left it the way it was...Looks mean and agressive
  20. Yep i found the best tyre shine to use is also silicone spray. Cheap as, easy to spray on and it looks great for ages
  21. Your rubbers cant be in any worse condition than mine were and we didnt damage mine at all when they were removed and replaced. I got some local glass company to do it for me...i dont trust myself with glass
