Oh - and also for sale... 3 month old Alpine DVD and 8" screen and headphones... RRP $2100 - going for $1400 ono
-
What a coincidence- I have one just like that for sale!!! (oh... except its yellow... and a series 2... and no sunroofs.... and no leather... ) Nah - buy Lone's Stag and paint it Black - its got everything else you're after and only $22,000 I think
-
Yup it is alot - so something ud be doing if your really going for optimum power with your exhaust setup... they are the best - but how much do you pay for the best... its up to each individual. I prob wouldnt bother with front dumps until I had the cash for the CES splits though. My mate just fitted his to his GTR and they ARE that good... but yeah - its still $600. As for the R34 split dumps on their website - might not be there cant remember - newer product... I know I had to email them about it.
-
CES in QLD do them definitely (as SK wrote above the pic ) - I was gonna get some last month - also the best dumps going around! Around $600, plus $120 or $150 for ceramic coating I think it was.

My brain is trying to comprehend BOTH the left and right rear wheels having been replaced by spare space-savers on that car... weird... But as for costs... One thing potentially wrong in these calculations for dealers that are also the RAWS themselves is that it doesnt cost them anywhere NEAR $4000 to do the compliance themselves... they just work on them out the back in their normal hours around selling etc - so its just the cost of the few parts and paperwork etc. Its only private importers that get slugged $4000 for all the labour etc.
-
Had it in my Stagea for 2 months no probs - just selling the Stagea ... so some lucky fella gets em cheap. The brand new 2005 bigger 8" roofmount LCD screen, wireless IR headphones and single din DVD player plus all cabling, remotes, etc - all as new back in their original boxes and ready to go! No muckin around - RRP = $2100 ... someone can have the lot for $1300 + postage Call 0417 097 178 or EMAIL [email protected] rather than post coz I wont be on much over weekend. Adam

Yeah theres a couple of RWD Stagea series 2 up in Queensland - Motorman Imports I think (they want a bit much for them though I reckon) - get one of them for drifting - then u dont have all the 4WD weight to the car either. Or even better I am sure you could even find a manual RWD Stagea in Japan and bring it over. Drifting a skyline... gonna be a sight to see - take some photos  But if youve already got an auto RSFour lined up - then theres heaps of technical stuff in the non-Stagea threads about disabling the front wheel drive and arguments over potential damage - do a search

Where to get badges? And what plates?
Brazen replied to Sk0pe's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
You can get a new badge easily - a srewdriver and someone else's Stagea is all you need... NO JUST KIDDING... DONT DO THAT. -
Mine certianly has an audible turbo whine Would be worried if it didnt! SPool baby spool!!
-
Its either a 260RS or has a 260RS bodykit.

Thatd be awesome! Any help appreciated!! Hopefully your work will make an exception... Its just that because they V35s are not a compliable vehicle (yet) no-one really has much to go by to even know what options/specs are worth at auction with these things... eg. base price auto vs base price manual vs sat/nav premium package vs leather vs low kms vs high kms etc. Wont be doing anything with the data except using it myself to work out what different specs and options I am likely to be able to afford at auction if and when comliance becomes available for them. But yeah - if you can get anything for me... [email protected] Cheers mate Adam

Posted it here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=74290 But might be more relevant in this section... so if anyone gets the sales data through from the auctions - Id love to get the past month or two of V35 coupe sales history so I can start to get a good idea of what prices are possible for different specifications. If anyone can help me out - please send through to [email protected] Cheers

Aaargh - colour picking is so hard on these cars. Gotta put my colour preferences on my V35 order in a couple of weeks... my leanings at the moment are, in order of preference... 1st Black 2nd Silver 3rd Blue 4th Gunmetal / Metallic Grey I think Id be happy with any of those 4 colours... the black is first pref at the moment, but I have the blue itching at me a bit that might see it rise up in the order a bit by the time I have to finalise deciding... hmmm

I can give you a rough estimate on numbers... AutoWholesale are the only WA yard that is a RAW for Stageas, and they have bought in and complied and sold 28 so far. Plus there's another 4 or so that I know of (including mine) bought in from Eastern States... so Id estimate somewhere between 35 and 40 Stageas driving around in WA. Doesnt seem that many though coz I hardly ever see them out and about. Have driven the 260RS at Autowholesale - very nice - but still very choked up due to emissions compliance - 2 x cats and 4 x pre-cats... so 3" it straight through, a few other basic mods and a bit of boost and they chirp all 4 tyres. For those that werent aware - Autowholesale this week knocked $10,000 of the price of that 260RS to get it out of the yard - so now $39,990 - not bad for GTR lovers with families or who dont want the attention a GTR gets - a 1997 4 door GTR for $40g - and talk about a sleeper! And the standard RSFours are certainly heavy in stock form - but 1998 onwards came in manual or tiptronic - but with some similar mods as you'd do to a sedan Line and they can be alot of fun too... a few Stageas around oz at 250rwkw... and one in NZ running low 11 second runs

Intercooler is R34, other stuff I am pretty sure but not certain on but 'think' it was upgraded to R34 specs (brakes, anything in the engine bay, transmission, etc). I also think the suspension was upgraded from Series 1 to Series 2 - feels firmer (but still different to R34 GTT).

Masa Stagea project - yellow or bayside blue??
Brazen replied to Brazen's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
The ADRs are a lot stricter on things like crash testing of models 1996 and later, and includes references to bodykits - if they havent been crashtested by the manufacturer or bodykit manufacturer WITH THE REPLACEMENT bodykit on - then it is illegal. 1995 and earlier you can pretty much fit new bumpers etc, but afterwards no go unless they were factory option bodykits gone through testing. So YES - all those Lancers and WRXs going around with Joes Spoiler Shop kits on are defectable... but yeah - whether the cops actually bother with it is another thing - but technically not ok. But this mainly relates to complete panels - like replacement front bar, bonnet, fenders. Lip spoilers or skirts or half-front bars (lower than main bumper) are apparently ok - its the panels that would take any main impact in an accident. Clear as mud???? Thats exactly what I thought when researching it lol Cheers Adam -
Stagea 260 RS with R34 GTR front - Price?
Brazen replied to NXTIME's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Technically no - it shouldnt pass an inspection... BUT as with everything - it would depend on how cluey the inspector is... technically its illegal / defectable... but most of em hardly seen a Stagea so probably wouldnt know... let alone a cop to pick it up in the first place. If you got a yellow for something else (tyres, engine mods) I wouldnt even change the kit for the pit inspection - you probably got an 80% chance they wont say anything, and if they do, just do the white lie "it came over like this and was complied like this - from my understanding it was a factory option body kit using genuine panels from the GTR - so was passed for ADR when complied the same way the GTR is". Then in 90% of the 20% of times they might ask you still get off... BUT you might get that persistent inspector who looks real close and realises they arent sheetmetal panels and tells you to remove them and book in for another inspection... in which case you'll need to pay the several hundred dollars to change it over and back again Still worth it though!!!
