  1. f**k that sux. When i was going to east geelong tafe last year my 'line didn't have anything happen to it - i guess i feel a bit lucky now seeing as i parked there 3 days a week for the whole year....
  2. thats a great choice of colour there James! - and i like the kit too
  3. Thats absolutely absurd! It doesn't matter if you have a restrictor or not, the epa guy should take it at face value if your exhaust is quiet or not. Otherwise that would be like saying "oh im sure you have a louder exhaust at home, so im not gonna check it till you put that one on". It should be irrelevant how the exhaust is made quiet as long as it passes the noise test. my 2c.
  4. there was a dude who had a grey 32 GTR parked outside his house on the esplanade (sp?) opposite that park where that japanese koaki restaurant place is. I saw it there for about 3 weeks but i havn't seen it since - it looked like a fresh import as it didn't have plates on it yet not to mention jap auction writing on the windscreen.
  5. Fv(k! how fast was this co(k going to have to be cut out of the car! I'm surprised that the owners of the other damaged cars didn't "assist" him out of the car and into a coma..... Its noobs like this that give us all a bad name. :zap:
  6. :werd: Taxi drivers have to be right up there up the worst drivers on the roads. Some of the stunts they pull that i've seen just freak me out
  7. LOL, I've seen this dude already about 3 times last week around the waterfront and coming out of the eastern beach carpark! That kit looks pretty good regardless if its a tommy kaira or not.
  8. have you guys listened to the comments after that MR2 crashes? they sound like fu(cken tossers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha "......OMG bro.......you gotta be fkn kidding me (coming from some chick)......holy shit bro.....etc" LOL,
  9. Just put on a hollow 3" when you go for the tuning, and just get rid of the compliance cat once the compliance thing is done.
  10. thats alright, i just checked your for sale ad. I'm sure you won't have any trouble selling it!
  11. so you changed your mind again? hope you have a better reason this time..............
  12. Have you thought about just rebuilding the standard one instead of getting a 2nd hand one? At least you will know that after a rebuild its perfect inside instead of running the risk of buying another already stuffed one. Thats what i did and it came to the same amount as buying a 2nd hand one, and now at least it drives like new... Apparently a rebuild for a GTS4 is the same as for a GTR, i can tell you mine cost $1800 and thats with a brandnew reverse gear set. So i imagine yours should be about the same price.
  13. This is a great thread! keep up the good work
  14. whats all the blue smoke coming out the back after the run when he backs off?
  15. if you like the car so much why not just keep it as a weekend thrash/track car? good luck selling it as its a good buy for the price!
  16. Congrats, looks mint! Will be interesting to see how it goes on the dyno - are you taking it to racepace soon?
  17. :werd: Also, I would be keen on GTR bonnets for R32s' as well as sideskirts and rear pods, oh and don't forget the usual supply of second hand mags like TE37s and other popular jap mags!!
  18. Sorry to hear Sam. Have you guys got your new dyno yet?
  19. Its a good idea. Especially if you open it in Geelong Seriously, a good shop that sells second hand performance gear as well as original parts will always be profitable. Good luck!
  20. Sounds good - i'm looking forward to it. :headspin:
  21. Ok, thanks for that. I didn't think they would put such a high multiplying factor like 1.7. I suppose thats good for you then - being in the same class as much smaller skylines and you having Rb26 goodness
  22. So if an RB20 had a lowmount HKS 2540 or whatever it would be allowed into class C? provided they couldn't tell it was an aftermarket turbo
  23. I was looking at those phillip island results, just wondering why Troy and geoff have their cars entered in class H for modified cars over 3 litres? I would have thought that a RB20 should be in class C for standard cars up to 3000cc or at least in the same class as Snowman over 3000cc? Is it because Troy has a high mount turbo setup?
  24. OMG thats disgusting
  25. Why would anyone want to call any nice drift car a "PIG"???????????? Especially a example with RB26 inside!!!!!!! I think of 'pig' as a derogatory term, and so should you. :headspin: lol
